New Horizons has a step up graphics wise with the flowers in general, but the flowers in New Leaf can still look great!!
Which is your favorite? Which ones are the main decorations in your town? Is there a type or color that you don't like?
My favorites are the lillies!! I don't care much for roses or cosmos or Jacobs Ladder. I heavily dislike pansies because they seem so dark and don't seem to flow well in my mind. Violets and carnations are nice, and I'm hoping to surround some villager homes in them. But lillies... especially the pink lillies have my heart!! They seem so elegant and soft and I love it!!
i love lilies, tulips and pansies but my favourites are the roses, espcially pink and orange
i'm not actually a fan of the gold roses because they're so unnatural it looks kinda weird, i also don't like the green mums or any cosmos flowers
in new leaf, my favourites were the roses and tulips! i’m sad that the rose design was changed in nh. my favourite colours were probably purple and blue!
my least favourite were probably uh,,, cosmos and lilies which is funny bc now they’re two of my favourites in nh lol. i wasn’t a fan of orange or black flowers in nl for some reason
My favorite flowers are violets, which also come in my favorite colors, blue and purple. Lilies and pansies are also high on my list. I love the white lilies and the blue and purple pansies. Oh, and Jacob's Ladders are pretty, too.
Cosmos and carnations are my least favorite flowers. I did use cosmos in my town because I tried to use almost all of the flower types, but they really don't appeal to me very much. Carnations I just could not use at all. I don't like the way they look compared to other flowers in the game. Something just feels off and the difference bugs me too much. They do look kind of nice when you place them inside your house, but they didn't match my decor so I have no carnations in my town.
The windflowers - I've never fallen so in love with Animal Crossing flowers until New Horizons. The blue shade, in particular, is incredibly beautiful; it's not a glaring blob during the daytime, but it just glows during the night. It's really the first thing you'd see - my eyes were just drawn to it.
I actually stumbled upon a hybrid island on accident. I was originally trying to find the bamboo island again; the first time, I had nothing to eat and my pockets were almost packed, so I gave myself space. It really didn't take long before I ended up at the hybrid island. It was night with a clear sky and a full moon; I saw so many blue butterflies but as I walked in the meadow . . . I wish I had saved the picture - I was standing in the area of blue windflowers with the full moon bright and directly in front of me. It was so pretty and enchanting - those flowers are actually the reason why I decided to go for a magic-reliant island and they continue to inspire me.
I'd have to say my favorite flower would either be pink lilies or pink roses. As far as my least favorite, probably pansies. My town has so many of them and they've just become a bit boring.

I thought my favorite were pansies but I am not so sure now that I have started playing New Horizons. I mean they look great and I love the two-tone look. But they feel kinda limited to me. They are great for designated areas.
I think Hyacinths win as my favorite by a hair from windflowers and pansies. They look great in the breeze and their colors are nice too. They don't feel too dark or bright like some of the roses.
My favorite flowers in New Leaf are the blue pansies, because the combination of blue, black and white looks really nice in that game. In NH they made it so that the blue pansies are blue and black (like how purple pansies are purple and black in NL) but I still think they look nice.
In NH it's really hard to choose a favorite because they all look so good!! I think I tend to prefer the "dingy" ones less; if you compare the yellow tulip to the yellow lily in NH you can tell that the tulip is not as brightly colored.
i really like the purple hybrids!! my favourites are the pansy and tulip hybrids but the roses are pretty good too. also like how the black cosmos and lilies look. there's a nice contrast to them which makes their yellow centers pop.
aesthetically, i like jacobs ladders but i don't really know what to do with them? they're nice as furniture i guess but i've never figured out how to landscape with them?
i think my least favourite flowers would be the orange cosmos because i have too many. oh and white tulips! for some reason they look fine as indoor decoration but outdoors the off white color is just kind of weird to me i guess.
Tulips and Lilies for sure. I like all colors, but the shape of the lilies are my favourite, and then the tulips. Roses and carnations are nice, same as violets, but not as nice as the tulips and violents imo. Pansies and cosmos.....not so much, but I can't hate on them still, they're doing their best, lol.
My favorites are jacob's ladder and blue roses, especially jacobs ladder; it looks so delicate and pretty. I also really like the blue and white lilys and violets.
My least favorites would be the yellow/red cosmos and pansies since I tried to make all the flowers in my town either blue, purple, or white.
My favorite is the orange and black roses. I find the purple and blue roses too dark and saturated for my liking. A lighter softer blue wouldve been nicer for the roses, but whatever. My least favorite changes all the time, but right now it's all cosmos.
I also loved the violets in NL, especially the blue ones. The lilies looked quite flat in NL, I think they look a lot better in NH.
My least favourite was probably the cosmos.

I like some of the other hyacinth colours, too, it just depends.
I really enjoy many of the flowers. I'm not sure I have a true favorite. I loved carnations best in New Leaf, but I'm not sure they will be in New Horizons. Roses are very nice and so are lilies.
I also really enjoy both pansies (my native flower in NH) and windflowers because they are interesting to look at and have visual appeal. Pansies in particular have duo colors which makes them rather attractive to the eye.
I don't really have a least favorite as all flowers are pretty. As for colors, I tend to favor colors such as pink, blue, red, black, purple, and white.
