What's wrong with these tunes?

The 7PM music is my favorite hourly tune out of all of them, in my opinion. Maybe it's because I like listening to the piano (even outside of the game), or maybe because I find it relaxing... I'm not exactly sure why, but I find it really entrancing. Sometimes I just go off into a corner of my town or down onto the beach, close my eyes, and just space out. I really enjoy the game's soundtrack, but I suppose others could find some of the tunes weird or "creepy". All just a matter of personal opinion

I keep remembering it... What really got me creeped out about Aika Village is when the character was inside the house, rather than outside. I would go explore upstairs or something, and when I get back down to the main room, she'd have moved... Ugh I'm getting goosebumps just remembering!

OMG I REMEMBER THAT!! I was talking to someone on BFF chat while I was in there, and was practically screaming on the chat "OMG OMG OMG OMG", "IT'S SO CREEPY OMG", "YOU HAVE TO VISIT THIS TOWN", stuff like that haha they really enjoyed it, but agreed that it was super creepy and scary!

OMG I just remembered the creepy statues / fountains that where there when you first get off the bed in the plaza!! Just that first glance of the town really makes an impact... Definitely sets the mood, along with the creepy 4AM music playing in the background... Didn't help that I was walking through the town late at night haha

I love all the early AM music. It's very relaxing and peaceful. I guess people might find it creepy because there is absolutely nothing happening in town during these times: No villagers up, no visitors, and it's dark. But it's just peaceful.

None of the ACNL music creeps me out, in fact I find the hourly tunes in this game fairly boring, although out of those ones mentioned I think the 7pm is actually one of the more decent tunes. I prefer the evening music to the daytime, 5pm is another pretty good one. It's the 3pm music I find extremely annoying, it's so stupid and grating!!

Although I think the hourly tunes sound nice, I don't really like Animal Crossing's music that much. They loop after 30 seconds or one minute, they're too simple, and the intensity is too low.

I think that all the hourly tunes sound really fitting. There are some that I dislike when I'm listening to them on YouTube whenever people talk about them here, but in the game they really fit the way my town looks and feels at those hours.

None of them feel creepy to me. I really like the night tunes, actually, they're really relaxing and fit the hours when your town is increasingly quiet.

They have to be simple, though, or it would be really annoying to listen to them in the game because they'd be too intrusive.

I can definitely agree with that. I prefer more of the evening / late night tunes as opposed to the morning / afternoon tunes. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against them! I think they're pretty alright and fitting for the timeframe, but I would choose to listen to the later music rather than the earlier music.

Animal Crossing can never seem scary to me - I picked up WW at six years old, then went on to play PG, CF, then NL. Animal Crossing has always been a solace for me. Plus, the music tracks aren't very scary either.

Really the only creepy track in the entire franchise is K.K. Dirge.

Nothing else can top that.

What if all the hourly tunes were replaced with high intensity music (strings, brass, choir combined)? That would make the outdoors more terrifying for a peaceful game like AC?

None of the music is creepy, it's animal crossing for pete's sake. The Halloween music isn't even remotely creepy, so what deludes you into thinking that 1-12am music is?
