duplication, hands down.
time travel only effects the person who decides to change the date of their 3DS, no one else. but duplication, however, can screw up the entire animal crossing economy! also, time travel, can help people achieve their dream villagers or dream towns faster and more efficiently. even though duplication helps people get their most wanted items, actually earning the item yourself feels a lot better, at least in my opinion. :\

I just want to make one thing clear about my post. I have no problem with time travelling. I just have problems with the people.
The time travellers are much worse than time travelling itself.
what makes it worse in your opinion? I think duping is worse because it ruins rarity and economy. Not saying I want to be a special snowflake, I just know it wasn't intended for the game. I don't time travel on my game aside from getting a villager out if a trade requires it. I have no other incentives honestly.

You know what? I have the same problem with non-TT'ers. A lot think that they play the right way and therefore think they can bash people who don't play the 'intended' way.

Duping is worse because you're exploiting a glitch.. I consider TTing to be cheating as well but at least it only affects you for the most part. Duping ruins the whole economy.
Also: "time travelers are worse than time travelling itself" has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. What does time travelling on a video game have ANYTHING to do with someone's character?

I wouldn't be offended over something like that. People have opinions. It's not unreasonable to not like time traveling. I just think people should play how they want to play and not care what other people think ^^

I know, I just don't like it how people have such a huge problem with time travelers. Like one person was saying they were proud of being a legit player, I don't understand how it makes you not a real player. I kind of have a problem with the pace of the game, because a lot of times, nothing really happens in one day ;v;

No, it was actually just a way to make my point clear.
Honestly, the main problem I have with TTers is that they constantly complain. Almost all of the time travelling threads created recently have been about TTers saying "what's so bad about TTing". This is, of course, despite the entire fact that there had been no debate about time travelling since the last thread. TTers complain that people say they aren't legit, yet I haven't seen any posts up until now where people are saying that they aren't legit. Even now, nobody has said that time travelling isn't legit.
they need to get off their high horse. It's a video game intended for children around 12 >> regardless of the fact that a bunch of 20 year olds play it xD. Kudo's on being patient? I just dont time travel because I'm afraid I'll get bored quickly. Not for mental achievement points
