I'm having a lot of bad accidents in game lately.
Today: A friend holding a villager for me lost her and went offline when I asked to pick her up via void. I can't afford this villager otherwise so I'm super bummed out. But I guess it's my fault for not being home last night to get her when she was accidentally out into boxes. I'm more upset because this is the second time she's done this and I'm starting to think it's not much of an accident anymore. A lot of people are being stood up by her. I'm out two villagers now.

Last week: Another person voided my villager that I cycled out to be held as I reset. Then asked me to compensate them for holding the villager. "It wasn't my fault you weren't ready to pick them up." I lost Frita while cycling someone out for a friend. I got stood up when I was supposed to pick up Julian too and the girl is ignoring my messages. I killed a bunch of hydrangea bushes somehow.

What kind of luck are you having?
Any horror stories?

Molly moved out but luckily I have have two more to cycle to get her back.
Sorry to hear about all the bad luck. I hope you didn't compensate them...that's crazy that they'd want money for losing your villager lol. Geesh.
What's the villager you missed out on today?

I'm sorry to hear that. :( But that's awesome that you're only two away to getting her back!
I didn't compensate them at all. It was ridiculous. I would've been more than happy to give them things in return if I actually got the villager, but they wouldn't even let me come by to pick them up from the void. This seems to happen lately when I ask people to hold villagers for me. They get them into boxes without warning me and expect me to be able to just go pick them up. I'm still trying to kick out the starters from this last reset. It hurt my feelings a lot because I held a villager for this person for two weeks and they couldn't even wait a couple hours. :/ I'm as impatient as it gets, but I wouldn't void a villager that technically isn't even mine.

Today I missed out on Francine. I've been sitting here with my gates open for the last hour waiting for the user to come by so we can try to get Francine to move in from the void. Nothing. She's active and posting elsewhere, but avoiding my messages. So, whatever. After she lost my other villager (Kabuki) while I reset, I should've learned my lesson. :/ I let her adopt her dreamie, Lily, from me/my cycling town as like "returning the favor" kind of thing and I feel really foolish. It's not a big deal. I know she's in a different time zone and she's really busy. I totally get being a bit late on messages and all that. I really do. She's really sweet and helpful; she's gifted me a lot of DLC and stuff. But I'm still a bit confused as to what's going on because it seems all her other adoptions go quite smooth and relatively uneventful. I guess it's just more my feelings. We're not even close friends or anything, but I did talk to her a bit.

I know what you mean. I wouldn't do so either. It makes it even worse like you said since you held someone for them. How many ratings did they have? I guess all I can say is try to get people with higher ratings next time sadly. But I can see trusting them to hold them since you held one for them...kinda like a return the favor sort of scenario. :(

:( Ah, that sucks. Well, I haven't cycled through Francine or Kabuki in my TT town so if I do happen across one of them. I'll make sure to let you know. I know that's not a whole lot especially when you just missed out on them but you never know..they could be in my camp tomorrow lol. Fingers crossed anyways.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. :(

I've accidentally tt Lolly in to boxes and had to tt Fuchsia out in my other town to save Lolly.

I accidentally tt Merengue to boxes so had to move Bam over to that town so I didn't lose anyone.

Accidentally tt Zell to boxes and had to switch villagers in my other town.

The bad part it this all happened within 4days! It was very annoying.

Not to mention I lost Zell(twice and got back) Graham, Lolly (three times and got back) Lopez(3times and got back) Beau and many more tt unwanted villagers out!

Wow your stories are so complicated o.o

I uhh....lost 3 sharks today trying to reel them in XD That's as far as my bad luck goes lol.

I cannot catch 2 beetles and its irritating me so much.
Also I am having terrible luck with panning my paths. The island like never has shrubs. And my garden shop hasn't fused with Timmy and Tommy's yet.

I was trying to get Carmen to move in from my campsite, and she said she would if I beat her in rock paper scissors. But she kept winning until my entire inventory was cleared. In between all that, I played item games with her, and ended up losing most of them, which cost me a ton of bells. Then the next time I asked her to move in, I expected her to challenge me to rock paper scissors again, but then she just agreed to move in without doing anything at all, like nothing ever happened. It's like she planned it from the beginning.

Carmen: #1 hustler =_=

Is it sad I'm still hopeful to hear from the girl so I can get Francine? She's been on all morning offering villagers to people and I'm just like, "Oh, hi. Please check you messages... Maybe...."

The other day I lost a dreamie that took forever to get: Felicity

All because "riki" an (original villager) was going to move out. He did the whole (!) and approached me. I said it was okay for him to go... then he responded by saying he wasn't going to leave anymore.

2 days later, another dreamie told me Felicity was moving out. I talked to her everyday for the majority of each day doing everything she wanted to try to keep her. She never popped up the question to ask her to stay. She never even said she was leaving....

Till the day she left.

UGH. I have failed at getting Riki to move out for EVER (literally). Because everytime he says he's going to move out... he changes his mind...

For an entire irl year of playing animal crossing, for all the hundreds of rocks I've hit with a shovel, I have never, not once, found a single centipede. Ever.

I've been having really bad luck trying to connect to people lately. My game gives me an error 2/3 of the time. It seems to work fine when I try to connect with some people but not others. This is really annoying because it means my TBT are pretty much useless unless I can find someone whose game can connect to mine and who is willing to trade with me.It also means I've pretty much given up trying to trade villagers.

Before you ask, yes, I've tried Nintendo's guide to fixing the issue and my game is updated. I still get the error.

I have this issue too. It's super frustrating, especially when it comes to villager trades. I was trading with a user on here and we trade forever to connect so I could pick up Cookie. Long story short: She got her villager easy when I opened my gates. Cookie was voided because after we ended the first session, we couldn't get the next session to work, erroring every single time. That user was the only person at first I couldn't connect with until I met some users on FB and had the same issue happen. We had to third party trade through a mutual friend and it was just a bit inconvenience for everyone. Lately, my connection's been a bit hit-or-miss all together because of the weather; I have to rush trade during breaks in the rain. I have a ton of items by my gate that I need to deliver too. :/

I really hope you can figure it out. :( I never understand why it happens. It's just frustrating for everyone and it makes me sad that you kind of have to pass on villager trades. There has to be an easy fix to all this. :(

I got my first one yesterday... Guess who didn't have a net... :(

I was helping someone with holding their villager and I didn't mess up the dates when I was cycling and I voided Fang in my cycle town! :( I was so sad.. and I still am. But it's whatever I guess.. I'll get over it. ;-;

That'd be awesome but you don't have to :O I can just reset my cycling town and hopefully find him once I'm ready to. :P

christ some friend you have
you should get a trustworthy cycler to hold your villagers [like ladyscion, god bless]
and dang sorry to hear about all your bad luck x-x

I had a pretty large area where I was growing black roses to eventually be turned into golden roses. I would actually get multiple black roses growing every day, so I considered it a pretty nice farm. I kept meaning to put a sign somewhere near them so no new villager could put their house on my field - not to mention I have a dozen other perfectly empty places for a villager - but, I kept forgetting to put a sign down. Guess who lost their field of black roses this morning? >:I
