What's the longest amount of time you took to plot-reset a villager?

I have plot reset villagers in my past towns for literally days. They can be so stubborn...

Right now, I'm plot resetting Beau. It's been over 24 hours that I've been doing this.

Obviously I didn't play for days straight; I had breaks in between.

What's the longest you guys have plot reset?

I think the longest I took was eight - ten hours (I can't remember) with my most recent move-in, Daisy. I literally have no patience for plot resetting and when villagers plot their houses on the same exact spot straight five times is maddening.

Plot resetters who can reset for 24+ hours are the most powerful and should be feared.

4 hours then I just gave up.

I don't plot-reset anymore since Sprinkle moved out of my town without warning.

About 30 minutes, I think... then I gave up. For me, that's long enough. I admire your patience. (^^)v

I'm not picky on where they like to put their houses. I just check that it's not on the little strip at the top where no one else lives (I want them either in the little neighborhood by my house with Molly and Willow or in the south side of town where everyone else lives and has a neighbor right next door to them). Or i don't want them on my flower paths that i have or on my carnation breeding area.

Most has been 30 minutes because Fang's plot wasn't appearing that day for whatever reason. He appeared the next day on top of my carnations but thank goodness i decided to try again and loaded up a new character just to check

I have my paths and bushes already set out, so when I had 2 move outs recently and had to replace them, I've taken breaks over 2 days before I give in and let them move to a decent but still not where I wanted them spot. I just plot resetted Chrissy for 2 hours yesterday (feeling lucky) before she got in the perfect spot.

I wasn't overly picky about where I wanted villagers to go, so the longest was maybe 3 hours while doing other things.

The longest I got so far was the first try.

As long as they don't decide to put their houses on my paths or on a huge field of flowers, I'm fine.

I've been pretty lucky - usually it doesn't take more than an hour. In fact, two villagers, Bob and Muffy, got their houses right on the first try, so I would have been fine even if I didn't make a new character to check on their plots. My criteria are that they have to stay within my paths, not be right near important buildings like the town hall, and to not be in a far corner of the map or somewhere that is away from all the action.

Two weeks for Colton. About 300 resets before I gave up :p

The longest it's ever taken me to plot reset was about 10 minutes, when Rosie was moving into my town. I had to reset twice because Rosie dropped her house on my path twice. The third time she ended up putting her house exactly where a previous villager's house used to be.

I think only about 30 minutes. After resetting for my town map for 2 days, I was content with spots that were "just okay" ^^;

Guys I don't know if a lot of people know this, considering it's like common sense lol but anyway

if your next move in is constantly trying to move into the same area then just rewind a day to the day that you asked him/her to move in (I can't remember but this happened to me. Just to be sure, load up a fresh profile to be 100% sure that your villager isn't moving in on that day) then after checking if there are no move ins, load up as your mayor and just put a like a lamp post or a different 1x1 pwp in the spot where the villager is trying to move in. It'll block them from trying to move in anywhere near that spot.

I had Erik trying to move in right in front of my house like 40 times so I just got sick of it and did this. Got him in a good spot like 20 minutes afterwards.
