What's the fastest way to cycle?

I just got a cycle town, and I've been doing 2 days forward 2 days back and NO ONE has moved out yesterday or today. What should I do?

Here's what I usually do.

1. MAKE SURE NOBODY WANTS TO MOVE! Even if they don't ping, travel a little bit at a time until someone does. Tell them to stay if they do.

2. Travel 6 days ahead. Open your game, and save and quite.

3. Open your game again and travel six days back. If you go around your town, someone will want to ping. Decide whether you want them out or not.
