whats the difference between monster hunter 3 for 3ds, wii and wiiu?

is there one besides controls or is the story and stuff the same? People seem to treat each like they are very different in that way

Basically the 3ds version doesn't have online, but the wiiu version does

(3ds version does have online, but you need a wiiu to access online so...)
