Some people are probably going to think I'm insane, lol. But I have a feeling some of you can relate.
Like many others here, Audie is a super dreamy of mine. When I first started playing NH I was not aware of how the mechanics of moving in the villagers worked. If I had known I would have done things differently. I had only invited one villager from a mystery tour by the time I completed my first 3 plots for Nook. I thought I'd still be able to continue inviting people and I didn't realize I'd get random move-ins at that point. If I would have known, I would have invited a Normal and Lazy and then just kept going on tours until I found Audie, lol.
After moving in my first camper (Raymond!!), I used all my Nook miles on tours looking for Audie. I think I used 33 tickets, lol. But obviously at that point my chances were much lower because I was encountering all personality types and not just Peppy.
So, then I came up with The Plan, lol. We have two Switches and two copies of the game because my fiance eventually wants to try the game out and play with me. He has not started his game yet, so I used our other Switch to make a "junk town" that will be deleted later. So I did what I said I'd do before and invited a Normal and Lazy, and then I just started grinding miles for tickets until I found Audie! Finally got her today and it didn't really take all that long since I was only able to encounter Peppy villagers at that point.
Now the plan is to TT in my junk town until I can get her to move out and then I'll steal her for my real town, LOL. After it's all done, I can just delete the junk town so my fiance can start whenever he's ready.
So...I'm hoping for some fun stories from you guys. What's the craziest thing you've ever done to get a dreamy?
