What's the best island pull you've ever gotten?

Open question to all on this forum: What was the best island pull you've ever gotten? By a "pull", I mean the amount of loot you got from the trip; whether it was tons of tokens for the island shop, or hundreds of thousands of bells worth of bugs and fish. I ask this question because recently, I went to the island around 2:15 AM, and came back with about $110,000 in bells from selling everything.

I once came back from the island with 21 golden stag beetles. I think everything totaled up to about 380,000 Bells?

I caught 40 sharks and beetles, and only kept the ones worth $10k and over.

I remember making $560k off that haul.

I usually go and i fill my inventory, my basement and a spare room with bugs and fish and would sell them the next day, I'd make a couple million for it. Normally took me a 2-3 hours

This morning I made almost 400k in one trip. It took about 45 mins. I kept nothing under 8000. That amount is not usual for me, but I know why...because I finally broke down and gutted the island. No flowers left, three trees total, one in the middle and two on each side in the sand. I did leave my 4 red hibiscus blush but saw no butterflys. Just ran back and forth at the bottom of the island and there was a beetle on one side then the other almost every time. When that wasn't so, I did a sweep around the whole island to look for fins and scare away the wharf roaches.

I don't need the bells right now, so why do I keep going? I can think of only one reason...I'm starting my third town soon, and am obviously on the slippery slope (as hoodathotit aptly calls it) of being the mayor of multiple towns. Maybe I'll need all these bells for a lot more towns!

Course, I did drop almost 2 million today working on getting my catalog filled. That was fun!

When I get up early enough to make a 6.00 AM trip to the island, I always have a goal.
Keep $10k and over, fish and bugs.

If it's a day/afternoon or a night trip, I keep $8k and over. ^_^

I made 3 million in one night, starting around 5.00 PM.

Relentless, it was. ^_^
