Sorry if a thread like this has been posted before ^^
I just got the island today and am loving it. I like the Easy Hammer tour the most so far, I'm really good at it lol. I don't like the Real the Eel one, definitely the worst in my opinion, catching eels is sooo annoying for me.
I dislike the fishing and balloon ones the most. The labyrinth ones are hard for me, but I think they're fun with others. My favorites are fossil and scavenger.
My favorite tour is either the Ore Tours or the Balloon Tours, I mean, who doesn't want an easy tour to play, and they give you a fair amount of medals.
I really despise the Deep Sea Diving one because even though I'm really good at Deep Sea Diving at my town, in a tour I feel stressed and rushed.
Tuna Kahuna is my favorite. Same pay-out as Giant Dragonfly but I don't normally finish with like five or six minutes to spare so it's not as annoying to wait out the timer. :v Elite Scavenger is better for fast medals though, I guess.
Least favorite is labyrinth because I've never successfully completed it haha Idk I'm really bad at it. Balloon tours are also boring and have too many annoying pitfalls.
elite scavenger is my favorite, I like the elite fishing too but it's sooo stressful since you have to listen and press the button at the right time or they take the bait and swim away
The best tour is the Shark fishing one! It helps you get good at catching sharks, and if you are already good at it, you can get a ton of medals~
The worst is the labryinth. I dislike it a lot. I'm no good at it... but I suppose it would be fun if other people were with you.
Labyrinth, Hammer, Diving, Balloon, are all bad for me. I excel at fishing and scavenging, so I do like those a lot. I am horrible at the Labyrinth and Hammer, even on easy. Ugh! I just stink at those no matter how hard I try. Balloon Tours are alright, but later on the pitfalls are just annoying.
I've gotten better at Hide and Seek, but still can't get better at Hammer or Labyrinth. I also stink at the Large Dragonfly. I can't seem to catch those suckers! No on a regular tour with the net I can, but on their own tour I can barely nab 2 or 3.
Tuna Kahuna is by far my favorite tour and has a great medal payout. Shark battle, ore hunter, scavenger, and hammer tours also have good payout and aren't super hard.
The tours that I hate the most are the firefly tour, all of the labyrinth tours, and the elite balloon tour. Only reason I hate the elite balloon tour is because I'm so horrendously bad at it. D:
I know it is really all personal preference but I dislike the balloon shooting tours most, I also dislike the fossil finder elite, though the medals are good. For medals and also to get rare bugs I find the scavenger tour the easiest and the elite brings a lot of medals, same goes with the hide and seek tours. I get excited when I we these. The bug and fishing ones once have a gold I do not play. I find the diving elite ones hardest to get gold on.
A bonus to me with scavenger and hide and seek is you finish when your done and do not have to wait on the time to run out if done early. Plus I find them fun, for just fun though I love the item matching tours, where you dig up pairs. It reminds me of the kids game memory. Also not bad for medals.
I love Scavenger Hunts, Ore Hunting, and Shark Battling. All really easy with a nice amount of medals as a bonus. Balloon hunts are annoying after they introduce ridiculous amounts of pitfalls, and the diving ones tend to stress me out because nothing ever seems to turn up when you want it to. It'd be less annoying if you didn't need to mash A to swim. Hide 'n Seek isn't bad either, though it's not my favorite.
I haven't tried it all but I don't hate the ones I've tried. I don't mind that some are hard or I'm losing, but I'd feel pretty bad if I'm playing with someone and the tour ended up being too hard for us, and we didn't get any medals. I like Gardening and Beetle-hunting the most.
In my opinion I think the ore tour is the worst, it is so boring, and the best one in my opinion is hide n seek, I think its really fun, I also like the firefly catching one or giant dragonfly catching tour, The shark battle and tuna ones are okay but I'm sometimes not good at catching them
