What’s something you wish you had/got earlier your first week of playing?

So my little sister is getting ACNH for her birthday tomorrow bc she loved playing on mine but she’s a rather impatient little 6/7 year old so I’m in the process of gathering things for her to come pick up to help her along! So far I have the flimsy tool recipes, a wand, some clothes, a couple furniture items, flowers, and all the fruits. But is there anything else that would be good to add to the pile?
Also I was thinking of adding a couple building materials but she’s gonna have to learn to do things her self eventually so I don’t want to provide EVERYTHING just a little starter kit!

When my friends started I gave them all the fruits and the ladder and vaulting pole haha I think those are all the things they needed. Then I just gave them a million bells each and gave them the opportunity to shop in my upgraded nook’s to get the better fishing rod, nets, axe etc.

A couple tickets as well as the knowledge of the first 3 villagers being lazy, normal, and peppy would’ve helped me a lot!

Also knowing that you can only invite one person from an island a day so don’t complete all three plots :’) nook will fill them with no mercy

Okay I don’t know how but I made the mistake of placing all 3 of my plots at once and none of them got filled with randoms! I got to hunt for each one as long as I came back and invited one everyday

Oh that’s so nice!! I’m not sure if this is just my experience but I completed all three plots with all their furniture in the same day and I had only invited two villagers. Nook filled the third!

I wish I didn't put my plots down so soon so I had the chance to actually find the villagers I wanted rather than getting a bunch of randos and forcing myself to grab whatever villager I could find that one day of island hopping

Make sure you let her know not to ruin the rocks on her island. I didn’t understand getting items from rocks so I broke all of them and it took me SO long to get 30 iron nugget lol

thank you for that incredibly kind offer!! im gonna let her start out with just the seed bags because i want to see her excitement when she gets her first hybrid but ill def probably leave a few hybrids here and there when i visit her for her to find
