Found this forum on a Google search and glad I did. I've played every version of Animal Crossing since the original on Gamecube but never really got into it for the long haul because I never found an outlet like this forum to connect to others with the same interest for Animal Crossing. I just got the New Leaf so I'm still getting acclimated with the new game and new 3DS since I haven't owned a Nintendo handheld since the DS Lite version.
One thing I get asked most often about is my Gamertag name and how it came to be. Long story short it's a childhood nickname that I absolutely hated that my mum would call me but as the Internet developed and online gaming became more popular picking a "gamertag" or AOL username (back then) was difficult so I embraced my childhood nickname which I've actually come to like a lot.
Been playing video games since 1980 on a black & white TV. I've been playing a long time and my first online gaming experience was on SNES & Sega Genesis using the Xband modem.
