What would you done differently

I would've probably tried to make my town a little neater, and planned it from the beginning. I might've also taken a different map.

House placement differently
Different map
Campsite placement (its where i wanted to build a bridge. thought i could still do it but isabelle won't let me D: )

Town layout.but ive gotten too far now to get a new one...

I would have placed my cafe slightly more to the left.

But honestly? Nothing. Even the cafe placement is fine - I just don't like the way it looks on the map more than anything. I like my villagers, I like my map and I've been really selective with my PWPs.

I wish I'd chosen a completely different map. I let my heart rule my head and got almost exactly what I'd spent years wishing for. I don't always know what's best for me!

Campsite placement. Also I wish my map had less ponds. Only one, actually, would've been perfect.

And I wish I had put my house a bit more to the right. Now Sogno will only have 2 bridges. Which I'm okay with but yeah.

I would have chopped down the trees and created my orchard in more organized manner. I also would have planned out big spaces for the PWPs before hand because now my cafe is just in the most random spot.

And I definitely should have picked a different map.

I would have planted my only perfect fruit in a more remote place. A villager moved on top of it the next day :(

Stuck with the face I've always gotten since GameCube days. B( now I wear either my Mii Mask or Funny Glasses at all times

A lot of people seem to regret their campsite spot. >.< I figured it'd be easy to regret so it took me 2 weeks to decide on a spot. xD;

I wish I knew about resetting for villagers and placement earlier. - Though I have liked every villager that has moved in, they all moved along my river so now I can't delete my bridges without waiting for them to move out to build. :/

I would have my house 1 square further back (or more) so that I could have a bridge in front of my door as I wanted. Though I have a feeling I would be too close to the plaza if I was a square behind where I am. But that is an added complication to my bridge issue.

Basically the only thing I'm not happy with in my town is the bridges and lack of options for moving them. :/ I never anticipated having 3 bridges in my town.

I would have chosen my map differently, put my house in a different spot, put my campsite and police stations in a different spot...I would not have planted trees wherever, I would have taken my time planting them and planning where they should go etc.

With that said I have had all my trees cut down and will slowly build them back up. I like where my three other characters houses are and can live with where mine is.
The campground I am stuck with as well as the police station...but it is livable, just not where I would choose to put them had I planned it out better. At the time I just wanted to get enough pwp's for perfect town and now I realize I should have waited for perfect town and saved my money and really though out where to put everything.

I am now going to spend my time landscaping and paying off upgrades and demolishing pwp's and saving money to replace them where I want them.

I did the same thing too, I chopped down all of my trees and got rid of a lot of PwPs.
Planning on using the reset thing to have all of my villagers be on the left side of the map, but its going to take some time for most villagers to move out first.

I wish I'd used the face guide, as i don't like my hairstyle and I haven't got Shampoodles yet.

I also wish I'd thought more about my mayor's name and used my previous name from Wild World, instead of using my real life name. I was so keen to get started that I didn't plan properly. I wish there was a way to change your mayor's name, as this is the only thing that really bugs me. I don't want to reset, as my town map is perfect, I like all my villagers and I've just expanded the museum so I can get the cafe soon - the thought of starting all over again fills me with dread! I haven't got time to play as more than one character, so it looks like I'm stuck with playing as 'me'. I know it really isn't that big a deal, but I use ACNL to relax after work and it doesn't have the same effect when the villagers are addressing you by your real name.

I was unhappy with my previous town because I did everything wrong but the town I have now is perfect to me so I don't regret anything~~
