Looking for a bit of advice...

So to make this as short as possible, I started a town, got the layout I wanted and got most of the villagers I wanted aside from about 2. I then TT'd too much and I lost a favorite villager (put him in a spare town). I was so aggravated because I just recently cycled 16 to get him back. I honestly don't have the energy to do it again for the 3rd time. I have been so mad that I've been TTING so much even before this. I feel like it's taken lots away from my enjoyment of the game and I really wanted to and still do want to stop. Anyway...what I've been contemplating now is, do I just keep my town and just forget about my villager until one day I have cycled 16 again slowly without TTing or do I get all my other current favorites into my spare town, start over fresh with NO TTing and just little by little get my favorites back? I'm so conflicted since I do like almost everything about my town but then I feel like it's tainted from all my dumb tting. Ahhh I'm so tired of wasting time too.

Anyway, I realize now that this wasn't as short as I hoped lol.

What would you do? And thanks for reading :)

Two options:
1. Stop TTing! Things could come better this way too.
2. Restart, cycle villagers into spare town etc.

id say keep your town, ans just slowly cycle back. it feels foolish to restart bc of one villager.

This happened to me once, though not due to a TT incident. My Mallary was in boxes with no warning, and I moved her into my second town that I was working on. But then I stopped playing in either town for weeks, because I was upset and discouraged. I wasn't sure what to do. Then I realized that I was preventing myself from enjoying the game at all--my main town meant so much to me that I didn't want to risk cycling, and I was wanting to finish my second town. So I did! Life went on in my main town (even though I still wish Mallary hadn't moved) and my second town (my Labyrinth town of Goblin) became an ideal setting for Mallary, since I gave her a place of honor in my dream town that has gotten a fair amount of visitors.

tl;dr: If you think you might be willing to keep up with your spare town enough that you can prevent your favorite from moving out, then you might want to consider doing both.

That way you can have your main town that you've worked so hard on, and still see your fave villager...you may naturally go through the cycle over time and be able to move them back in, or you may come up with some great idea or something for your spare town and decide to build that up--in which case you've already got a great villager living there.

I felt like this after Anhka moved out of Bevelle... although mine was because I took a hiatus rather than TT-ing.

I would say take a deep breath and carry on... and enjoy meeting new villagers instead of focusing on one :) Then, if down the line you can bring your villager back in, consider it then... but I have met some brilliant villagers that I wouldn't have if it wasn't for Anhka moving.

Thanks for all your stories and suggestions! I am still a bit unsure about what I want to do but I know I'll figure it out eventually! One thing I do know is when I decide, I will not be TTING anymore. I always regret it. I hope this will finally be my last warning haha.
