Warning Long post ahead main point in paragraph 2, looking for advice from long time players with old towns and or multi towns that have or had fallen out of synch with time or people very attached to the game..Here is the situation, I got a town when the game was released in 2013 and backdated it a few months to June the official release date 2013 it's now on Aug30 13, got another town that year started Oct 1st left the other behind for a long bit, or when cycling came got stuck on the same few days over and over second town just did Harvest Fest 2013 and then for holidays 2014 got 2 towns started one hardly played while building it I to a deer town is 2/4/14 then same with sheep town stayed same first week forever..again so it's 7/18/14 there, other after played a lot 5/24/14 and so on, another is 9/25/14 hardly played last year life was medical and relationship heavy..then I have one new town villager full getting closer 9/13/15 finally..got all my dreams can move forward again new town will be set to IRL date and kept up with now that dreams are done so same day over and over cycling or holding to move villagers between towns is done..but here is the thing..

They are all different seasons, out of whack with IRL months and years but all in a position to safely either be jumped closer to IRL so will be caught up by new year or jump to the important dates I made a list of them all until hit 10/1/15 and catch them up that way by new year...or leave them be out of synch and not feel like I am skipping over so much stuff..I mean if I went back to my CF town one day on wii and wanted it the same Id have to go to 2011 or 2012.. Or reset. But from the heart yes it would be easier to have them more in synch then could easily do a day in each everyday without trying to race one faster..but part of me feels like I may regret skipping over all that time. I know it seems silly, either safely jump them after a mover turn down to same date this year or all same date this year, or skip ahead by hitting key events and days until get there..less hurtful, or let them be where they are..I have it set where it's safe for me to do the jumps but nearing 2016..I guess it's a question for longtime players with multi towns, or just really into the game for a long time..would you now that they are perm villager complete and some PWP complete jump them or just let them be out of synch. I have note cards for each of last play dates that's not an issue, I just feel like skipping ahead that far...I don't know why this is so hard for me to decide to do I am too attached to the game I guess I'd feel bad all the missed days and holidays and I don't know..why it is so tough to do. Maybe because I am sick and New Leaf is a big part of what I can do and also helps since just went through a hard breakup and I have become attached to it, I read a thread on that earlier today..

The town in 2013 that just finished Harvest Fest is literally on today's date in 2013 with Francine just turned down to move so could be jumped 2 years in one swoop..the others would be out of season and some that weren't played that much would be a huge move ahead..I guess I need some hardcore long time player community opinions on what you would do. I don't know why I am having such a hard time with it..I played the same days over and over not to skip one when cycling in and out to get my dreams and now some are so far back but I feel like wow skipping that much or just play my but off would I ever catch up, or should I not care and let them be where they are..I know this is boring to some but am hoping there are some long time multi town players out there who fell behind and know what I'm feeling to give advice on jumping them all. One town because I was dream questing all sheep for it and it took months but I always used the same day has been played a lot but seems only one week old to the town..another only a month though was played more..really have been playing them all for years but the personal cyclers know about using the same day over and over..Ok enough ramble..anyone have any helpful feelings about this, if you do t care or haven't been playing long enough for this to happen or just don't know what I'm talking about ignore it. Those who do I would love some pros and cons, and if you leave yours out of synch..It seems silly to be so difficult but I'm hoping this community might understand why.

Ok, I've read it all and this is what I think.

Truthfully? If you don't want to jump the two years, then don't. But you have to decide what's more important to you - to have the game the same as the actual real life date, or to play the game the way you have been and enjoying it?

I've been playing my game since the release date in the UK. I would never want to not play the actual date. Sometimes I've stopped playing for a while and gone back to it a few months later. I do that in full knowledge that some of my villagers will have moved and things will have changed. I accept that. But I don't do the whole dreamies thing and I wouldn't have anyone who I didn't want to move out.
