What was your town named after?

I named my town after a colour. Cerulean is a shade of blue, and my town is blue themed!

Memoria is named after the focal location in a slice-of-life series that I am writing. The theme is nostalgia and memories, hence the name 'Memoria'. The stories that are told within it are based around adventures I had as a kid, the video games I played and tv shows and movies that I watched.

Memoria also comes from Final Fantasy IX, which was my second favorite final dungeon of all time.

Mine was named after a beverage. Milk. I've had the town for 4 months and I thought i'd eventually regret it but turns out I actually like the name a lot and I don't think i'll ever change it. It's just too cute.

Mine was named after a hotel I was staying at when I was thinking about what I would name my town and mayor when the game would come out (so probably 2 years before it actually came out...), it's called Sugar Beach but that was too long so it became Sugarbay!

In my AC:Let's go to the City village, I named it after the cat from Stuart Little. In AC:NL I used my extensive vocabulary and named it 'Ukiyo' meaning "island in the sky"

I have had 3 different towns of the course of the 2 years I've owned ACNL, My first was called Tokyo.I named it that because I just really wanted to play and I didn't want to waste time thinking of a name. After like a year I got bored and reset because I realied I picked horrible spots for permanit PWPS. My second town was called Delfino after the Island in the gamecube game, Super Mario Sunshine. I had it for a few months but then I stopped playing, I checked back about 2 weeks ago to find the my favorite villager/dreamie, Moe, moved. I hate the 16 villager cycle so I rest and now I have my new town which is ironicly named Old Town.
I got this name from a fantasy name generator site. I love that site and always use it when I can't think of people/location names and after looking at the names I saw Old Town and thought it was good, a few days ago I realsied that I forgot that I was going to name to Megalovania, after my favorite song in my favorite game, Undertale.

Oh well, Old Town is a cool name too
