What was you dumbest mistake in New Leaf.

when i first started the game, i dont remember if it was before or after i reset my town a week after the game came out, i went to the island wearing midna's mask. dumbly let someone "try it on" and then they said it was just gone from their inventory. what a chump.
then i let zell move out. it was like a year ago and i didn't think anything of it really because i wasn't super into the dreamie scene besides getting scoot. having pietro made me realize i miss that smug little deer. so now i've been checking threads to find my lost friend hah
i built the resetti center. what a waste of money to just get yelled at all the time jeez man sorry. if only it was worth it to see him nyoom into the darkness on his chair.
and then i got the pwp for the police stations. for 1, neither of those really look great in fairy tale themed towns. 2; i apparently built it in the wrong place, so between that and scoot & bangles' houses, i can't have a third bridge. the fairy tale bridge that i put up with tangy for months to get. and i can only have two which completely throws off the left side of town because there's just a path leading to the river >( i get steamed every time i see it ugh
and then i think in september i messed up my tting and went back to the beginning of the month, so i had to keep tting my way back. well i thought "nah, i don't need to go day by day, i'll just skip 2 ahead." stitches moved out during that tiny period thanks jerk. so now i have to get him back (which might happen soon thanks to a great person)
and then earlier today i talked to zucker and he changed his mind about moving. which wouldn't have been as bad if i hadn't saved :// so now i have to beat him up again so he'll get out

i'm pretty dumb with this game tbh

Accidentally loaded my mayor and got Rudy in a dumb spot. Not bad, I can work with it, but it ruined some of my plans.

My biggest mistake is building all of my town projects in random areas instead of planning out where they should go >.< It makes it look really sloppy. Also not paying attention to how my character would turn out by answering the questions at the beginning of the game. >w<

When I was trying to fix my dates and I miscounted the amount of days to tt so I ended up going over 5 and lost Maple because of this. And when I went fishing and got a good amount of sharks to sell but I was sleepy and decided to put my 3ds on sleep mode and wait until the next day to go to Retail. Since I was still groggy from waking up the next day, I ended up pressing the power button instead of Start because I was too lazy to save the night before.

Always accidentally tapping "Close" on the 3ds home screen instead of "Resume" after adding people's FC..... ARGHH. I just recently stopped doing it, but its just a reflex from tapping "close" on the Friend screen D:

I've done that. Resetti's like WHAT DID YOU RESET FOR!! I'm like, HONEST MISTAKE! I meant to close the home screen, not the game entirely!

I've destroyed a bridge and couldn't put one back on the same place. I was supposed to replace it with a different type. Turned out that there was a certain villager house near the area. So yeah, no choice but to move him out (so long Chief) >__<

I lost my New Leaf game cartirdge. For a whole year.

Leaving a set to get trampled by Redd was pretty upsetting. Then I started a second town without using the face guide. Not really loving my look there, but I'm too far in to make a change. Maybe I'll try a crazy Mii mask one of these days!

I remember on my first week I caught an Arowana and sold it before putting it in my museum. I don't know if I've seen one since, lol.

A little while back I mucked up plot resetting which left my long-sought after Dizzy smack bang in front of a bridge, next door to Re-Tail and blocking the only path to it. His house destroyed my lovely natural, bush-lined path and the surrounding trees. I was so mad at myself, so I had to lose a couple of my temporary villagers to get Dizzy to move, and he now lives in my storage town until I've cycled enough for him. Once he'd moved, I carefully rebuilt that part of my town and all seemed well and I was looking for a 10th villager, and then I picked up a void move in from my storage town who destroyed another part of my town and a bunch of hybrids. I was so mad at myself for being doubly careless, and doing so much TTing which I don't really like to do nowadays. I was so bleeping fed up, but I sorted it all out eventually. Hopefully I'll learn from my mistake and concentrate fully next time I'm plot resetting!!

Geez, where do I start?

Well, the dumbest thing I did was a complete accident, and that was when I was collecting bugs on the island after 7pm. I had about 6 golden stags (no joke), a few horned atlas beetles, and a bunch of others which would rake in a lot of bells. Decided to take a break after filling up half the box, and during that break, take a walk.
Welp, I decided to bring my 3ds with me for the step counter since I was still collecting Nintendo fortune cookie items, and as I picked up the 3ds, grabbed it around the entire thing...and accidentally pressed down on the cartridge.
Game cartridge ejects, one hour and half a box of expensive bugs down the drain.
