i've just started my junior year of high school and im pretty nervous! this year im thinking about university and all that good stuff and so that got me thinking... what are yawls worst years of high school?

mine for sure was freshman year because i was still figuring everything out and also i was pretty sad but we don't need to talk about that haha. i had loads of fake friends freshman year i just didn't know it yet, and also i was really bad about homework and grades and stuff. now im doing fine and i have a big chink of valuable friendships, and also motivation to get good grades! so i think junior years gonna be really good haha.

so anyways.. what was yawls worst year of high school?
and if you haven't finished high school like me, whats been your worst so far? i really can't tell how many of us are in high school and how many are out....
 
As I mentioned in another thread, high school was actually a breeze for me. I loved every year of it and graduated as Salutatorian (2nd best GPA) for my class. Those were the best years of my life so far.

University on the other hand?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! It’s soooo difficult, but I’m nearly done with it...
 
Highschool in general was awful to me, dropped out sophomore year

Year 7 and 8 were horrific for me getting bullied. The rest of the years I got bullied too but it also included friendship group drama. I guess each year was bad for different things. It definitely improved as we all got older though - thankfully.
 
The first one. In France there's three years and in the first one you have to choose a "section" (either scientific, economic or literary).
So it was my first year in this place. (It's like.. an institution, you can enter here since kindergarten up to university (only for maths though)). So yeah I arrived here for highschool and knew no one. It was way harder than my middle school and I was mixed with a lot of people I didn't know.
Then came my second year! It was the year in which we were finally in a section. The literary section is the least popular because it doesn't leave much work opportunities. Also there's pretty much only girls in here because, you know, real men do maths I guess.
But that was cool because men at my school were a literal nightmare. And I'm gay so, you know, I really much enjoy spending my time with girls. So no more maths or anything of the sort, and one cozy class with amazing and very open-minded people. I mean, duh, they were girls.
We kept the exact same class for the last year and it was even better.
So I guess what made my first year the worst was... maths and men.

The second half of highschool... currently is not going very nice
 
I know this says high school, but I became homeschooled in 8th grade, because middle school was absolutely horrible for me. I've literally never wanted to be somewhere less in my entire life.
 
My first three years were fine, but by my Senior year all of my friends had either moved to the vocational school or transferred to a different HS, so I didn't have any friends in school anymore. Plus, by this time all of my favorite teachers had retired. It was just a very lonely year for me.

It's probably not a coincidence that that's the year where I started to become really depressed and sick a lot. I missed too many unexcused days and they actually flunked me out of a class for it. Just thinking about it still makes me so angry.
 
most of it was really meh but 3rd/last year for me was worst due to all the ****ing drama and ppl being insane
 
my high school years were the years my mental health took a detour straight to hell, but i’ve gotta say freshman year was the worst. i was bullied nonstop & my anxiety was at its worst then.
 
Sophomore for me as I made the decision to be friends with seniors my first year. Sophomore was a drag for not knowing anybody for the better part of the first semester.
 
Freshmen year was a little rough, but i'm currently in my junior year at the moment
 
Freshman and sophomore years combined. Senior was ok. Junior was a blast!
 
every year was horrible in its own way, first one definitely being the worst and the last one being kind of ok. I didn?t have trouble in any classes or ?drama? with anybody but I hated every second of it regardless, and once in awhile I?ll have a nightmare where I didn?t really graduate and I?m still there. Lol
 
My first year was the worst because I was expelled and getting into things I shouldn?t have. I probably wouldn?t have enjoyed the last two years, but I actually ended up getting accepted into this charters arts high school for junior and senior year and moving away to the nearest city. We were allowed to do art for three hours a day along with our academics and I think it helped me a lot. The school was filled with a lot of artsy nerdy and queer folks and the teenage drama was a lot more tolerable. It was still there, but not nearly as bad as going to a normal high school.
 
First year because I didn’t know anyone at my high school and my English wasn’t that good yet so I was kinda embarrassed to talk to others. During my last year of junior high there were people that ignored me because of that when I tried talking to them..
I met two really good friends that year though and we still hang out when we see each other now, 5 years later.

Second year of high school was the best & I had a lot of close friends to hang out with. School was also not super stressful yet
Last year was meh with lots of drama
