The direct highlighted this. Inkwell will move in with any of the 6 inkling amiibo, even their recolors. The squid sisters are the only ones in that set tied to a single character.

Only the upcoming series of cards have characters with RVs. Normal characters give an item or can be asked to move in, Special character cards just give their picture

Only the figures have an associated RV
