What Type Of Parents Do you Have?

I can't speak to my dad much without getting into an argument but both he and my mom like to constantly compare me to other people. That's my biggest problem with them though, they're great parents in most other ways despite the fact that I can't be my complete self around them.

These all seem like really patronizing answers, so none of them really fit my parents. They're pretty relaxed for the most part, they might lecture me but I don't really see them as lectures but rather them trying to explain why things happened from their own prior experience, typically.

My mom lectures me a lot, but she means well. My dad is more relaxed but he can be really strict when he wants to.

I have the typical strict asian parents.
They're probably less strict than average, but the still like to compare me to my friends and cousins a lot.
But overall they're really nice parents who care about me.
I get along well with my mom, but t's kinda awkward between my dad and I. He's a quiet person and we just don't communicate with each other as much as we used to when I was younger.
