What type of hairstyles/other facial customization could be added?

We already have a lot of hair option, especially compared to some of the older titles, but it would be cool to think of more ideas for stuff like this, and even add something like mustache (excluding the villainous looking one you get from the shop) and beards.

More medium-lenght hairstyles. Almost all of the male options are either super-short or with sidecuts. If you're a dude with a bit longer hair, there only like three options.

Would love more of everything really! I feel the hairstyles in NL were much more varied and would love to see them return! I feel frowning mouths would be nice too! We need way more color options for eyes and hair as well.

I REALLY hope Shampoodles makes an appearance in this game.

I wish they would add some of the old hairstyles back into New Horizons. The current hairstyles aren't bad- but they're always just a bit off from the style I'm aiming for. Some curly options (both short and long) would be nice. Maybe some side bangs...?

As for eyes, I think they did great this time around.

It would have been cool if mustaches were just a facial feature rather than accessories. I love my character’s handlebar mustache and I never am without it, but I do miss out in playing with other “around the mouth” accessory pieces like the bubblegum, leaf and, my favorite, bandages.

More longer hair styles would be good. I do like my default ponytail but would like a change. Some curly styles would be fab

Honestly I would be happy with anything. I love character customization!

But if I had to pick I would say eyes! There is like two popular eye options so it would be nice to see more variety!

I agree with others that new eye colours would be cool, but perhaps they are not added yet because an NPC will be introduced to distribute them? (I am hoping Harriet). Would also like to see more side-shave styles, and a man bun.

I think more hairstyles in general would be cool. I usually just keep the one I have because most of the other ones do not interest me. I also always wanted dark purple to be an option for hair color. It would be cool if they just added a color wheel and you could pick whatever color.

Purple would be so cool I use pink but its not the same

I would like better shades of blonde too cause the ones they currently have are meh to me. So my character has grey hair cause they don't even have white. Also being able to make your beard one colour and your head another would be helpful.

Customizable bangs. Sure you can use a pattern, but you have to pair those with a hat and some of them look very flat.

More hair colors bc they had some before that were better than they are now, eye colors, more mouth shapes, nose shapes, and bringing back the mii mask would be cool. I'd also like to be able to have highlights or streaks.

I miss all the hair colors, especially dark blue and white. Nicer braids and some of the wigs found in Pocket Camp would be great, too. Really hope Shampoodle makes a comeback.

Agree with more options for bangs! I kinda wish it was like Pokémon where you choose the front & back of your hair separately so you don’t need a billion combos of each hair individually o:

I hope they bring back light brown as a hair colour. The colour they added between the brown and the darker blonde option is nice, but it's more red than light brown.

A longer and thicker 'high' ponytail (something that goes below the shoulders), an equally long sideways braid that actually looks braided, and bigger buns. The ones that are there now are too small/lacking in volume for me. Bonus points if the buns are made with hairsticks or messy buns. And just generally longer loose hair as well, to at least halfway down the back of the avatar would be nice.

Also, I'd like more hairstyles that don't completely 'disappear' as soon as you put on a hat. Especially for the baseball caps or mesh caps, it would be amazing if the longer hairstyles poke through on the backside. And it has been said before, but something that let's you combine different types of bangs with a ponytail or braid would also be nice. Though I could settle for the two 'strings' of hair that come with the low ponytail for all of what I described here.
