What type of animal would you add to AC?

Lambs. Like sheep, but smaller and cuter. There's bears and cubs.
Turtles and foxes, too.

Edit: And raccoons! I know the Nooks are special, but maybe instead of tanuki, N. American raccoons.

I would add baby versions of existing species like puppies,kittens or piglets.AC already has bear cubs so why not a few more?Or would that be a cuteness overload?

Three new species I’d like to see are lizard villagers, bats, and actual parrots.
For special, Toucans, platypuses, badgers, and storks could be good additions.

after seeing all of the fanmade bat villagers on twitter, i would definitely have to say i want bats in game! they would just be so cute, and i can imagine lots of unique and colorful ways to make then special and fun.

After seeing the fan made illustrations, I really think we need some owl villagers! They could have really funny/unique expressions with those owl eyebrows (owlbrows?). Also love the idea of having a cranky owl neighbor.

I might finally be open to adding some birds into my villager roster if they created them.

Personally, I'd like to improve upon some of the species that are already in. I'd really like to add a polydactyl cat. Or just add some more themed characters for each species. I really like anka's an Egyptian cat and Pietro as a clown. Animal Crossing needs themed villagers

As others have said, bats! I LOVE bats in RL, they're so cute, and I bet they'd be super precious in the game Plus, I love creepy, Halloween-y sorts of things, so they'd be perfect (along that note, I'd also love a spookier black cat villager, but that may just be me)

Also, more crows would be cool. I never played PC but I've seen pics of the crows from it and they look super cute!

I think swimming animals like sharks sound soo cool as an NPC! Like, similar to Blathers or Wisp, perhaps a shark that is actually scared of other fish, or just a non-typical shark personality.

In terms of everyday villagers and not NPC's I like the ideas of bats and snakes but I wonder how their walking animations would be. Octopus walking animation is a bit silly considering their multiple legs (I still love you Zucker!)
