In my last town I just worked on getting badges, completing my museum and cataloguing when I finished. Also maxing out all my villager friendships and getting their pictures. That being said I eventually got bored and just restarted. I'm not TTing this time so it should take me longer to complete.

yep! just complete other things, like bug and fish encyclopedia, the order catalog, or metals. it's up to you, or find another game to play ^-^ new adventures are fun too

I just tried to complete my catalog and museum and then recently I bought a new copy and started a new town.

I got the 2nd copy and started a new town as well.

When my main town was finished, I helped out other players and was just trying to finish my fish and bug collection and badges, but it was getting kinda boring ;__; now that I started a new copy, there's so much to do xD

Look at my town, find something slightly wrong with it, destroy the entire town, burn my cartridge, completely restart with a new name, new face, new everything.

But in all seriousness, I usually do find something wrong with my town and I start working on it even more. Haven't really hit the whole burning my cartridge stage just yet, but I'm sure that time'll come soon enough!

Invite people over and tear it apart. That way you have something to work on again.

For me, once I feel my town is done, I tend to get itchy feet and restart. If you feel like you put too much work into it, maybe work on a theme or start collecting sets? Or take a looooongggg break from it and pick it up months later addicted again, that's usually how it goes for me.

sell all your hybrids and everything, take down all your public work projects, get rid of your dreamies and look for new ones, etc etc. it's basically like starting over, give your town a brand new look and work for it again. it seems tiring or rather boring, but it's at least something to keep you addicted in the game

or if its finished, invite people over and let them look around or share your dream code and ask for opinions to make it even better. there are plenty of other options such as making a new character and earning all the badges, completing another catalog and more

All yall talking about restarting.. Why would you restart a completed town? I don't get the point of that. You completed it just to restart it? Ive had the same town ever since j started and I don't see myself EVER restarting. If I want a new town that badly, I'll buy a 2nd copy

I don't know if a town would ever be complete for me. I have so many villagers I want to kick out, I have portions of my town that I need to redecorate, my house needs work, I need to catalog more items, I need to complete the museum, etc. There's just so much to still do when you think about it and that's what gives the game its charm in my opinion

my town is always changing and I'm hardly every super happy with it so I'm really glad you feel like your town is completed! GG! Now I guess fill everything up! Theres an excel file of everything to collect in the game, you can use that to see your completion of everything there is to get in the game! Max everything out! The bank and the medals!
