What to do with this house?

Like 2 weeks ago, I decided to get my third character. The house is in a great spot, is fully expanded, the character is done, and the house exterior is done. I was planning on doing a hotel. After finishing 4 of the rooms, I didn't like how it looked, so now it's completely empty. Sold everything. It's just a creepy empty house now, lol. What should I do with it? I don't do "themed" houses (Or really like them, for that matter), so... Yeah. I have no clue. My second character is like a villager picture house which I'm probably done with (It's not fully expanded, but I don't want it to be lol). And my mayor's house is pretty much done.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

For your mayor's room that you need help with, you have a very elegant house, so you should keep the theme with another elegant set, like the weeding day set that leif gives you, or something similar, like alpine? I dunno, just spit balling.

As for your character, I'm not sure, but it should be something adorable, like the egg set or insect, nonetheless keep looking, you'll find something eventually

I recently visited a dream town with a tavern and I've seen pics of a 'library' with a cafe and everything. They both looked like really cool ideas.

I'm using one of my side character's houses as a sort of "community center". It's going to have a gym, spa, general store, classroom, chidcare center, and either a cafe or a doctors office.

My mayor's house is kind of like a normal little house I guess. I have a dining room, a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and a tea room. My second character is a tropical hotel type with a cabana pent house, regular hotel room, gift shop, cafe, and then she'll have a room that's her bedroom, my third alt is supposed to be like a fairy-tale book. Each room is based off a different fairy-tale (Goldilocks, Red Riding Hood, The Snow Queen, Rapunzel, Hansel and Gretel, and Snow White or Alice in Wonderland (haven't decided)), then for my final alt I was going to do a run-down villa and have her character be the ghost of an aristocrat. I've seen people do libraries, gardens, restaurants, offices, game rooms. Hope you get some ideas.

in my museum, i have a cafe, classroom, and japanese themed room using all of the japanese items i had sitting around in storage. each room is different but all my visitors seemed to think they were cute, so i guess just going with what you feel is cool is the right thing to do.

im with opei here, what did you decide to do with the house? you should post pics when youre done!

Spa/Hotel, or even a show off house like rare items you've got or AC:NL tournaments like fish, bug etc. Maybe even a restaurant? I have a spare 7-11 set that would go well with that I can offer if you're keen? If so just PM or VM me. I'm in hospital so may not see this thread often.

I think Opei was talking about the room in my mayor's house; I originally made this thread as "What to do with this house and room" but since I figured out the room, I removed it

I removed everything from a house in another town. Inside I put clothing, Zodiac DLC, Gulliver items and some other things.
My other towns drop by when they need clothing.
For awhile I had shrubs and trees in one room. Perfect fruit stored on the floor in the other rooms. Her locker was full of perfect fruit.
