What to do with missed treasure?

So Buck finessed me today and I lost to his treasure hunt game. But now I found it, but I can’t give it back, can’t open it, and can’t sell it. What exactly am I supposed to do with this?? Be reminded of my failure?

Lol I've been able to give the presents back to them if they're still outside, and they'd give me sass about it but they'd take it back. If I couldn't do that... I'd keep it as a trophy of my failure lol

Yeah but I don’t want to litter my house or town, so I’ll wait until I can open it.
