I was wondering what people do with extra cards once they complete a set? I currently have like 30 different extra villagers for the Welcome Amiibo set and I don't know what to do with them.

-whispers- mail them to me. ;)

I have series 1 leftovers that I'm planning to just give away to people.

If you're the type of person who goes to conventions, see if the next con you're going to has a swap meet. That's where I'm bringing my duplicates. I know a lot of people sell them, and I believe TBT has an exchange forum for Amiibo cards if you'd just like to keep things to this site.

I don't need any Welcome Amiibo villagers. Maybe I'll see if I can swap Welcome amiibo for series 1-4

If you want to expend the effort you could sell them on ebay? If you want to be nice or need views for a blog or more visitors for your town you could hold a give-away. I was planning on trading them but it's hard to set up ACNL meets around my college schedule (*cough cough* totally not procrastinating right now...) so I ended up getting a few friends ACNL for christmas and bundling some nice NPC cards with villagers that I think they'll like.

I gave away extras to online friends and to a young employee at the local gaming store.
The rest I kept to use when I play amiibo festival, HHD and ACNL. I only use my collection set if I really need to. I want to keep the cards in perfect condition.

I want to try trading my extras online but mailing stuff gives me really terrible anxiety. I'm sure it's not that hard but it totally blocks me, haha.

I get anxious over dumb stuff but honestly I've never had problems with amiibo trades through USPS.

I, for one, would really like to see more people trading WA cards for series 1-4. I have several leftover cards from collecting earlier series, but almost no spare Welcome Amiibo cards.

I honestly sell mine, trade it, or if I'm feeling generous I'll give it to someone who also plays acnl around town.

I've been trading my welcome amiibo extras for regular series 1-4. I have almost got rid of them all now, down to the last 9. I had a load to begin with

I have traded mine all away. To be honest I would prefer to trade a bunch for the leftover Series 1 cards I have - I find nobody wants those anymore so I've been trying to sell them on eBay. I'm down to the last 30 or so now. I had around 70 doubles at one point.

Same -- I haven't even gotten my ordered packs of WA but I've still got loads of 1-4 from completing those sets. As soon as I get my cards I'm hoping to trade old cards for the ones I am missing.

I have over 30 villagers in my doubles stack so Ill happily trade for especially series 3-4. Nobody really does care about the older amiibo cards

I had anxiety over trades too. It helped to trade with the same posters with each Series. To make myself feel a little better I take the letters to the post office, get them to weigh them and ask for a label. That way it's the post office fault if there isn't enough postage. I do keep track of who I'm trading with and PM to ask if their cards arrived. Once I get the message back I can relax.
