What to carry for Halloween

To time travellers,

I was wondering if it is advisable to carry tools etc tonight in case I get pranked. For reference I have over 30 pieces of candy so I'm not sure if I would need to resort to pranks? Also would I be fine just wearing my costume all the time or keep swapping?

You don't need to bring any tools really. You just need lots of candies. If you want to resort into getting pranks, you need to decline giving them candy. (This will only work if you have a candy in your inventory. Otherwise, they will ask you to get more.)

Make sure to give all lollipops to Jack. Have fun!

It's quite hilarious that the villagers will hand you a lollipop after giving them candy. Jack is crazy about those. By the way, it's totally random though.

I only had 21. It was enough to get all the remaining spooky recipes plus extras.

You can also get candies from your villagers if they are staying at home. (You will have to dress up though.)

It depends on the amount of candies you have. For me, it took about less than half a hour handing out all my 21 candies. I also had to fool around with my villagers by scaring them.

I just emptied every thing from my pocket and put on clothes that I did not care if they were messed with haha. But it was fine I just carried all the candy I had and no problems. I was trying to not walk to close to the islanders so they wouldn't ask me hahah

Once you get all exclusive items and spooky recipes, there's nothing else to do! You may want to take pictures or hang out with your villagers. It's a quick event really.

i brought a close to full stack of candy; it really was not needed (already got everything though on a friend’s island). i also always have my tools on me. in spite of thinking i’d wear a costume, i ended up using the jack outfit for my costume.
