Welp so I just had the little squirrel monster (AKA Marshal) give me a throne (an item that sells for a whopping 200,000 bells) for just bring him a cherry.

Is this normal? Have any of you guys had a villager give you an extremely expensive item after completing a simple request?

It's kinda rare, I had villagers give me thrones in letters and also if you have good luck with furniture, you may find one in a tree after shaking it; had it happened to me a couple of times when I use to shake the trees for furniture.


She gave me her throne once.


This fell out of a tree in one of my older towns.

I got one from Chow in the mail as a thank you for coming to his birthday party I did research a fitting present for him. My alt who gave him some random red tulips got a shirt in her letter, though. x)

I haven't actually got a throne from a villager but many people get them from Elvis or the special 'Legend of Zelda' Ganon villager.
I also have Marshal and he ALWAYS gives me good items in return instead of shirts (like EVERY other villager) but he's never given me the Throne. I already have one though
