So I just talked to Muffy... ONCE... Not multiple times... And she said something like how during winter, scary stories get her pumped up and warm, but in summer, scary stories give her chills and make her cold. Then she did the whole thinking thing where she won't talk to me again because she's thinking long and hard about something. I have never had that happen to me where I only talk to them once. Is this normal and has this ever happened to you?

Right after that conversation.
That was not because you talked to her too much, it was just an emotional reaction triggered by that dialogue. It happens sometimes, like when Smug villagers make themselves sad because they're not confident in their poetry.

Oh I've had that happen before, with Katt. I don't remember what exactly was that she asked me but the answer I picked made her "thoughtful" like that and she wouldn't talk to me afterwards. But I doubt it was because she was annoyed if that's what you're worried about.
Haha no it wasn't a stupid question, I mean if it's never happened to you before, how could you know what it is?
