I was wondering what sports you guys practice!

I'm not much of a sporty person...
I did a lot of horse riding until an unforunate accident about 8 years ago (I was fine, my horse had the accident).
So I kinda stopped doing anything sporty all together since I didn't really like anything else...
But 2 years ago I stumbled into a new gym near my home and signed up for yoga classes, and I was hooked! I go once a week now, for a 2 hour session.
Since this year I also take kickboxing classes once a week (1h30) in the same gym.
The teacher is so nice (not to mention hot), I love that we get to pick the musics (for yoga as well),
and it's about 1 or 2 minutes bike ride away from home.

I'm so happy I found sports that I have fun practicing, and I don't feel super lazy about going to the classes,
since they are lots of fun. :)

Share your sporty activities!

edit: Oh I forgot! Sometimes on the weekends and sometimes during the week I do some stretching and pilates at home by following the Blogilates youtube videos.
But not regularly, I'm often too lazy to work out at home.

I grew up playing soccer. It's such an underappreciated sport. It's just so much more fun than any others :)

It's fun! It used to be one of my favorite in school, even though I was terrible at it.
I live in Barcelona currently, trust me it's not underappreciated here. LOL!

I play Mafia

but seriously though, i dont play sports competitively. but i do enjoy cycling and swimming casually.

Soccer since I was 7, volleyball since 12, tennis since 11-12, and swimming since 5(During summer :b).

I've tried horseback riding before, cause my aunt has her own plot of land and stuff, but I don't really feel comfortable with the bouncing. .

You're not supposed to bounce, hahaha!
I guess it's just a matter of learning. might be difficult if you don't have anyone to teach you at first.

Ah. I had a quick lesson, but I guess the instructor mustn't have been very through.

Well if that's the case, I suppose I'll have to try again this summer. :T

I don't practice any sport in a club or something, but I play a lot of table tennis. In the summer I also play a lot of football with my friends and in the winter, if it's a lot of snow outside, I go cross-country skiing sometimes. I practiced football and tennis in a club for like a year each, but I was never in the mood to go to the scheduled practices, so I quit.

competitive ice skating :) blurred the pic a bit, but this is me a year or two back:

oh kickboxing is really fun! i want to try actual boxing but i haven't gotten around to finding a gym.

i was a competitive swimmer for most of my life. i also played volleyball, tennis, lacrosse, ice hockey and field hockey in high school. i did some figure skating when i was younger than that, but i stopped because i was getting serious about swimming

I have ridden horses since I was 8. In fact I am riding my horse tomorrow! I used to do it competitively; Im a fan of showjumping more than dressage but I dabbled in dressage occasionally for 3 day events and such.

I also cycle daily but not competitively. I am thinking of getting a racer though...

I love playing soccer, as do most my friends. We get together a couple times a week and play, even though a lot of them aren't that good. It's a lot harder than some people say.

Good night, your leg. That's painful for me to even look at.

Aww yay a fellow horse lover! Have fun with your horse tomorrow! :)

I used to do dressage as well, at a low level though, when I was a pre-teen.
When I got my mare Atlanta though (a spanish purebred we adopted) I stopped taking lessons and competing.
She was an ex-dressage horse who had arthritis so she couldn't compete anymore.
With her I just rode out alone in the mountain. Every day after school almost.
Best horse riding of my life by far, even though it was easy riding.
She was my best friend and we had a truly deep relationship, only the kind you can have with a horse.
(I'm sure you know just what I'm talking about since you have one too).
Then sadly she took a kick to the head from another horse (who had been placed in her paddock with her by mistake) and she died... I was told the next day but I never saw her dead...

It still hurts thinking about it, I have never been on a horse since. :(

I played basketball when I was younger. And I used to be on boy's volleyball and boy's track and field. I only exercise nowadays. Sometimes I swim.

You should look at the rest of the world. As for the question: none, although I used to play tennis.

Field hockey, floor ball, sometimes soccer
I always make it to provincials for jumping in track
I also do running
