What single species island would you have?

If you were to make an island with a single species, which would it be?

I would love to have a squirrel one, if there were more male squirrels.. five more? No complaints about the current ones, but I'd love more

I'd do cats. Because I adore Kid Cat so much. But wouldn't mind having an eagle island one day!

Back in New leaf I had an all wolf one for a while, my sister had and still has all cats (except for Audie lol)

Penguin island. I have always wanted an all penguin island. I almost have one on my main island. I changed my mind for the moment since I don’t want to let go of Dobie and Fang. So it’s a penguin/ wolf island. Right now it’s 6 penguins and 4 wolves . I have considered an all duck island for my second island but then I would have to let Cleo and Dizzy leave.

I would love an all cats island. I almost do right now. I have Raymond, Rudy, Punchy, Kiki, Rosie. Merry.

My non-cats: Reneigh (temporary), Judy (was supposed to be temporary), Sherb (permanent?), Spike (permanent)

I plan on inviting Ankha, Marshal and Dom for sure.

Other species l like enough to have an island of just them are: squirrels, rabbits, frogs.

Mine was originally going to be an all-deer island but there were some personalities missing (I think jock and peppy) so my island is now only half deer. But I'd go with that!
But otherwise I'd love to do an all cat or all wolf island since I like a lot of them anyway. And if you aren't too particular about them being the same species an all-avian island with one or two from each bird species in the game would be nice

All Squirrels, I already have three of them! I would want a species that has the personalities covered, so species like Wolves, Deer, and Eagles fall short of the dream team. Meanwhile species like Frog has all of them covered, but I only like 2 of the female designs and being stuck with having to have Gigi... would be annoying.

Sheldon, Peanut, and Filbert are already on my island. I would adopt Pecan, Marshal, and Tasha for sure. Then I would take two between Sally, Poppy, and Sylvana. Lastly I'd take Hazel and Ricky despite not being too interested in them. A friend has Static, so I don't want to step on toes there.

Dog or Horse would be my next pick. Horses have more that I love over the Dogs, but it also has a very ugly lone Jock. Dogs don't exactly excite me, but at least the worst offender would be Cherry's side mouth.

In New Leaf I had a town that was populated mostly by koalas and if Nintendo had brought back Huggy(the only peppy koala in any A.C. game)I probably would have made a koala island rather than a duck island.Australia is an island continent so a koala island would have kind of a built-in theme.I'd go for squirrels and big bears too.

Thought that was going to be a hard question to answer but if I had to pick just one species it would have to be wolves. I already have Whitney, Audie and Dobie so would be happy with a few more

My island is nearly all cats, except Julian and Audie. I have one cat from each personality. 8 total. My second choice probably would be wolves or tigers (although there aren't many of those.)

Octopus. They're the species I like the most and Zucker is one of my favorite villagers. I'm aware there's only 3 octopi in the entire game, well short of the 10 villagers you're required to have, but that just means it's easier to attain having all of them on my island.

For a species which actually has 10+ villagers, I'd have to go with penguins (though wolves are a close 2nd). I like the design of most of the penguins, and I think aesthetically they'd work very well for me and push me to lean more into a potential winter/hockey design for my island. Plus it'd guarantee I'd still have all 8 personality types on my island, lol.

My current New Horizons island and two of my New Leaf towns are nothing but rabbits and squirrels living together.

If I had single species, it would most likely be just squirrels.

Hamsters, 100%. I wish there were enough of them, because I would be sorely tempted.

I love every single one of the current designs and would be very tempted.

I also have recently realized I really love the ducks, and could imagine having an island of them too

I wish either of these species had a sisterly villager, as it is a personality type I would miss having around.

I might also enjoy making an all bear island? I love the sisterly bears, and ike is my favorite cranky.

I don’t know if I could handle an all one species island though…because I cannot imagine an island where I wouldn’t have tabby. (But not really interested in having an all cat island, despite liking many of the cat villager designs).

If the deer species had all the personalities, then def deer. I like how they look and they're easy to give clothing gifts to. Sheep and birds, again if it had all the personalities, would be second, cause I love sheep and I think the birds are cool.

I’d have a dog only. My island is currently eight dogs and two wolves. I consider the two wolves to the leaders of the pack. The dogs are just my favorite species. I chose them based on color scheme and species. They all follow an orange-brown color scheme.

Probably all cubs! Or a mixture of bears and cubs because they're basically the same species.

If I were to make a single-species island, which I may try if I get an ACNH cartridge compared to my digital copy (or another switch, though I doubt that would happen), I want to make a bear island! It's something I always wanted to do in New Leaf, but since normal is my female personality, the idea of it turned me off because there were no normal bears and I'd have to use a cub as a substitute. But with the inclusion of Megan in New Horizons, I can actually do an all-bear island and include all personalities!

Two others that I'd love to have as a single-species island, but not likely to do, are lions and mice. I remember visiting Lion Town in New Leaf and loving it, but there's just not enough lions to do so. Though, I'm really hoping that the'll bring Aziz back as he's my absolute favorite GCN exclusive (a blue mane, that's awesome!!!) and perhaps add lioness villagers in the future? As for mice, the only personality that is missing is sisterly, which is my least favorite female personality, so that's something I don't mind, but still, if I do get another copy of AC, the bear island is my top priority. I suppose I could make another Switch account, but having three islands would be a lot for me.

Back when NH just came out I really considered an alligator and frog tropical jungle of sorts, because I have a soft spot for reptiles/amphibians. Alligators and frogs are among my favorites of the villager species. It's tough because the only sisterly frog would be Diva, and I hate her I wish we had a sisterly alligator instead, and a smug alligator would have been so cool, too. His name would be Douglas and he'd be dark blue ^^ If I could have that island come true, here's who I'd have:

• Lily - normal frog
• Jeremiah - lazy frog
• Puddles - peppy frog
• Huck - smug frog
• Wart Jr. - cranky frog
• Boots - jock alligator
• Alli - snooty alligator
• Alfonso - lazy alligator
• Del - cranky alligator

All I'd be missing is a sisterly villager. My alligators and frogs would have ponds in their yards to swim in and coconut trees to relax under~ Tad and Boots would have their own bamboo garden filled with white windflowers and green mums, and they'd be my closest, most favorite neighbors
