What should I put here?

I just built the caf? and saw there?s a space next to it and it bothers me. I wanted to put in a bench but I don?t have enough space, and then tried to put in a fence so I could drop some handhelds into it when I?m ready, but that needs even more space which I don?t have. I?m going to put paths in but idk how it?ll look if I just use tile paths... so any ideas on how to fill this up?

I'm assuming it would have to be a 1x1 PWP if a bench won't fit? I think you could put a cute lamp post there, or the torch, or the zen clock, or if you really wanted a sitting area there, I would plant 4 trees and cut them into stumps I think that would be pretty cute!

I have spaces on either side of my caf? but no bridges (noticed the left corner of your screenshot) and seconding the stumps but also clovers/mushrooms/flowers if you're not able to/don't want to move the bridge. I think your options are a bit more limited because of said bridge but I could be wrong. :3

yeah my villagers walk around there a lot so I wanted it to be a place where they can sit. The tree stump is a good idea, I think I'll try that!

yeah that's the bridge I started with so I can't move it sadly. I think I'll put a stump and then get some mushrooms to make it look cute

I think either a bench or lamppost would be a good fit. Maybe a torch would go well with The Roost? Its colors seem like they would match.

Ahh I see, well depending on your town theme, get that silver axe ready for stump making. (,: Just curious, but which handhelds would you have dropped if the fence was able to fit there? I can definitely envision the usual "to go" coffee, balloon, bubble wand, etc. A basket of your native perfect fruit could be cute near the stump and mushrooms. :3

I wanted to put a bench at first but no matter where I stood Isabelle wouldn't let me place it a lamppost would be nice but it takes up little space

coffee, ice cream, bubble wand/glow wand and maybe sparkling cider? Just things I like to carry while walking around in a dream town. I also decided that my whole towns gonna be covered in perfect fruit trees so placing a basket there would be kinda weird lol

Yeah definitely, can never have too many food and beverage handhelds. c: & oh good point, just thought to mention since the lil baggies for the handhelds aren't colorful. Lots of earthy/natural tones with the stump, mushroom(s) & handhelds.

I was thinking of putting a flower bed there but it would look ugly. Maybe you could put a fire hydrant or one of those customizable signs.

A custom sign that says cafe or has a map of the town might be cute. If you don’t want a PWP, I’d just put a treestump there and cover the area with mushrooms and flowers.
