I wanted Bruce so badly and he just finally plotted his house in my town... But it's directly in front of retail as close as possible. Should I deal with it or find a new dreamie?

If you can make it work and you really like him, keep him. But if it bothers you too much just find a new dreamie.
Plot resetting always helps with this.

Today Zell moved in a bad spot, but I tried to work with it. But, since it seems it's in front retail it may be hard to work with.. If you can try to get around it, keep him. But if it's really a problem, I suggest you let him move out, cycle 16, and get him again. It's pretty saddening when a dreamie moves in a bad spot, but if the dreamie is really special to you, work with it.

If plotting matters so much to you, maybe you could try plot resetting in the future! It helps avoid this sort of problem.

I'd personally just deal with it, if it's a dreamie and if you can work with it.

If you really hate that spot, why do you have to find a new dreamie? You can always just do the 16-villager cycle and get him back again or something and plot reset that time around.

Frita plotted her house right between my town hall and Re-tail. It bothered me at first, but I don't mind it too much now. The town isn't really developed anyways so it didn't really ruin anything and I'm hoping I can work around it. :) She's a cutie and it took me a little bit to get her and I don't want to lose her just because I messed up plot-resetting. I guess I can just visit her easier since she's just right there.

I've decided to just switch my crankys from my two towns, moving Bruce to Atlantis and Rolf to Sheol(where Bruce plotted badly). I appreciate some of the advice but not the rude ones. In answer to some of these questions:

I usually do plot reset but I had forgotten he was moving in when I started up my town that morning.

Literally anywhere but right in front of retail or town hall would have been fine.

I'd have to find a new dreamie because I have too many achieved to cycle 16 villagers and it not take months. But I'm switching him for Rolf so problem solved.

Thanks everyone. No more advice needed

Plot reset if you can. But if his house is down, let him go, cycle 16 and get him back.

If you can't cycle because you don't want to lose the dreamies you already have, you're absolutely right, it will take months. It's been probably 6 months since I let Chief leave my main town (due to horrible plotting), and I've only cycled through 7 villagers so far. Because it's my main town I don't TT or anything - so getting the right people to move is super time consuming.
