What should I do with my private beach?

Hi all, when I restarted my town, I got a private beach and think it's really cool. What are some cool things I could put on there?

Private beaches are pretty decent for hiding pitfall seeds so no more spawn in your town and they're perfect for breeding hybrids, namely those that require hybrid parents such as purple pansies and blue roses. No risk of running anything over.

Originally when I 1st started to play this game, I tried to get a town with a private beach. As I got game experienced I became neutral - it wasn't good or bad to have one.

Yes they are good for burying a pitfall & for hybrids - as said, less likely for visitors to get at them, albeit I for one have my wet suit permanently saved in one of my letters.

Some of the downsides: An absolute pain until you get a wet suit, as you can't get to them!
Small ones are difficult to do anything with at all. Large ones split up your beaches, so your main beach is not as long as it could be.
If you add palms then villagers can use the private beach (well any beach) in hide & seek games.
I've seen a villager on my private beach (a bare one, no palms, she was just standing there!) - rare but its been confirmed by other players.
If they can get on a beach, they can add flowers to any you have planted there - again sort of rare but it does happen.

I have one town which has a very large private beach - I'm pleased to have it but as above, there are downsides to it, but yes its different and I like the town.
But - I've not done anything with it apart from adding palms/few flowers.
Never tried but can we put patterns down on the beach? If so it opens up more possibilities - a beach towel pattern to lay down?

Villagers can spawn there, and set off the pitfalls.

I would put a lighthouse on the private island, personally. I would put a PWP there.

I buried a pitfall seed and four fossils down there. My days are just a little simpler now.

That said, it is a pretty nice tiny swatch of sand. I don’t know what I would do with it otherwise, but I like that I can put on a wetsuit, jump off a cliff, and be there.

Great for burying things like Coconuts, Bananas, Pitfalls and Isabelle.

I just have one tree there, some seashells, and the daily pitfall seed.

I always put fruit but I carefully pick where I put the trees, along with scattering shells in specific places or even sometimes I'll leave wetsuits there (they look like treasure chests and fit athestetically and is useful! Since Lloid won't loan that

I saw a hacked dream town once that had some PWPs on a private beach, like the lawn chair and ... something else, I can't remember. It looked really cute. But I don't hack so it's not something I'd ever be able to do (note to devs: we want to put PWPs on beaches next game!)

But seems like it would be good for hiding things.

i used to have a few hybris over there. then one day i got a ping from a villager saying they heard a rumor gloria was moving out, so i went looking for her everywhere and couldnt find her at all. later that day, hours after i gave up i put on my wet suit and dived off the cliff and lo and behold there she was watering the flowers on my small private beach. i have moved them since then cause i hated going over there just for them. dont have many at this point anyways.
