Tye do you like Super Mario RPG and paper mario? Basically the same as FF but with Mario.

No, it's not. There aren't Mario characters. The characters are what I like about Nintendo games... I don't like dull, forgettable characters. I like mascot characters. Colorful, interesting, lovable characters. Final Fantasy lacks that.

Have you played an entire FF game? Sure it's different characters and story in each game, but they are still lovable unique characters that you get to know better throughout the game. Most Nintendo characters have pretty bland personalities.

Unlike the ds, most games for the psp are around 20-40.
For the ds you have to pay 50 bucks.

Wow what a read i'd say just keep it give it a shot it was a gift he may not have thought hard about it but he tried it's better then some parents do for there kids. Plus playing a psp wont make you any less of a fanboy of nintendo its how i got playing different games even thought still proud to say the mario rpg series/paper mario 1 of my favorite. And now that I said that if it really bugs you so much just go be with Andrew simple and effective.
