Why not? It's not like they haven't done this in the franchise. In fact, one of the better type combinations pre-G6 was Ghost/Dark. Not to mention that Electric/Flying and Ice/Flying were in G1, among some other type combinations.

I've been wanting a dark/electric type since RUBY/SAPPHIRE. Those are my two favorite types in the pokemon universe. Make it happen Nintendo. I'm waiting.
