What pokemon game should I get?

Blue Red or Yellow.

GET YELLOW!
It's the only game that actually follows the anime show's story line from the beginning and u can get all the starter pokemon like bulbasaur, charmander, and squirtle w/out trading!

The anime has given pokemon a horrible reputation of a kids only game, even if the first season or two were decent. I believe following the anime's plot was a TERRIBLE idea, I suggest Red or Blue heavily, then play Yellow. Its not a bad game, its just I dislike the anime interaction. Just my opinion though.
