I like her paths. They're more formal than my town, so I don't use them, but I like seeing them in other folks towns.
Likewise, the only reason I don't use them is 'cuz it pretty much requires you to cover your entire town with her grass ground scenery for it to match. It just drives me nuts when the edge of a path doesn't look good with the natural grass, curse you anal-retentiveness!

I'm so glad you posted this! I've been looking for the candy land path, but couldn't remember where I saw it. It's gorgeous!

Mostly because I do not have a theme in my town, so I want a neutral pathway that I can use year-round (so pathways with green-grass bits are a no-go since they won't match in winter), and I like to have some stairs.
Also I prefer not to have to much work (so no borders and using tons of QR codes for every side and corner).
I might change it later on, but I've only been playing for a few weeks now so everything is so very much a WIP (and I take my time), so I just wanted to lay down a path for myself so I won't take different routes all the time, and possibly cause more grass wear (I don't run, but I believe even normal walking causes some wear to grass...)

I have the qr on my tumblr... as well with it links to the QR code that inspired me to make it and the tutorial I used to help me make water.
I'm currently using the cobblestone code that matches the original stones around the plaza. I love how it fits with the existing edges around Town Hall and Re-Tail, but I want something more finished with a little more color.
This weekend I'm planning on re-paving my town with Amy's ivy path. (I asked her if it was possible to have a grey recolor for the stones, but I think I'll go ahead and use the regular ones until she's finished. Busy bee, that one. I highly recommend her designs. <3 )

I use custom black uneven stone paths. It is a pain in the butt to make paths with borders @_@
Kinda having second thoughts about them. What pain. Maybe I'll make them bigger? Oh god I already have like 10+ patterns done.
I'm so sorry! ><;; My time's been spent between work and finishing the pink peony request, hehe. I'll do the grey one right now, I just uploaded the peonies last night. <3

I'm super patient and knew you had other priorities before mine. But I'm super excited I get to make a request at all. Your paths are detailed, but retain a simple beauty at the same time.

I use a mix of 2 paths made by separate people that mesh together well. its a mixture of a stone tile and grass patches with cute shapes cut into them like hearts, and big stepping stones are also a part of that path. theres no pattern to their placement, I just randomly throw in grass patches and stepping stones
