What paths for a forest town.

I need help choosing an appropriate path for Treeside, the rainy forest town. I have decided on four options:
-a path with just clovers
-a path with mossy cobblestone
-a path with some stepping stones and mainly clovers
-a path with a lot of stepping stones and some clovers
-a plain grass path

Also what would be the best time and day (grass and tree colours) to set the dream address in?

I think that stepping stones and a lot of clovers would look good, especially if you are trying to make your town feel very natural! As for the dream address time, maybe a rainy afternoon? 5-6 pm always looks good as well. Good luck!

my town is also forest themed, and clover paths with few stepping stones look amazing.. oh and as for the time for the dream address.. hmmm.. probably either around 9-11pm or 2-4am..? bc those times of day give a sort of ~quiet~ atmosphere ya feel sooo yep lol also idk but personally i think the music during those times sound great [for forest themed towns..]

I think forest towns look best around 7 or 8pm when it's raining ^-^

I am working on a forest town in my second game and I am using a grey stone path. The only issue I am having is when its put down in an area with just dirt I need to make the edges match that and then have a different one with grass edges for the areas with grass, otherwise it doesn't blend well.

I'm not really a huge fan of the stepping stone + clover paths so I voted for mossy cobblestones. I had paths like that in my old town and I thought they looked quite nice.

The only thing I have against the clover/stepping stone path is that it's been done by everyone, so now it's just boring when I visit a town that uses them. Although, if that's what you want to do, then go for it! My opinion doesn't matter, and if that's what would make you happy, then that's what matters the most. c:

I'm actually just using a stepping stone/mushroom/natural dirt path for the forest part in my town and I'm extremely happy with how it's turning out so far. ^^
