What month is the island set to?

I'm trying to catch all the bugs and fish I can from the island and tours, do you know specifically what month it is set to? I was thinking August? It would be nice to know whether I've caught everything I can yet

I think it's September there, actually! The reason I say this is 'cause you can catch monarch butterflies there, and those aren't available in August.

But you CAN catch Golden Stags, which are only available in July and August.
