What kind of letters do you save?

When I was younger, I used to save every letter from mom/dad, and all my villagers. That quickly became arduous and I settled for letters I liked, and goodbye letters. Now I haven?t yet saved one since I started the game. I usually do try to keep my letter slots kind of full for extra space then delete letters as needed. I think it might be a bad habit but oh well. What do you do??

I have goodbye letters, letters from my favourite villagers that are just too sweet or funny to delete, and for the moment I also have game progress letters saved (mom letters, HHA letters, ..) but I am not sure how long I can keep that up

Normally goodbye letters, from past villagers, like Celia, Tangy, Mitzi, etc.

Goodbye Letters, Letters from my parents or just letter that I find funny or heartwarming.

Letters from Nintendo, original holiday letters, milestone letters (such as HHA goals and Desert Island Escape), and some from the parents. I think there's a couple other odd ball ones in there too that made me smile.

I save letters that I find funny or memorable, and sometimes goodbye letters from villagers that I really liked. Mom/dad letters just don't cut it for me, I guess.

I usually just save the cutest ones from my favourite villagers - some of them really melt my heart with how wholesome they are <3

I honestly don't save very many letters. I only keep about 6 letters in ny inventory for storing tools and that's it. Those 6 letters are the ones that mean the most to me from my favorite villagers, though. They are those rare heartwarming letters that really make me smile.

I keep letters from my villagers and mom and dad when they're just too sweet to delete, especially if it's something birthday related. I sent letters to all of my villagers at the end of the year one time and kept all of their replies. I also keep some of the letters that my real sister sends. We did this joke years ago that we would keep sending each other cushions and write in all caps. XD

I think I used to save goodbye letters along with their photo attached but now I don’t bother. Now I’m lazy and jaded and I have absolutely no guilt about trashing the letter right after reading it lol.

i've kept the letter you get sent from an 'unknown sender' about being mayor at the start of the game all this time, its the only one i never, ever under any circumstance toss

I've been saving less letters over time. but normally I'll save my favourites from my mum, goodbye letters (if I liked the villager), and a few random letters from villagers that I found funny.

Its too much effort to walk all the way to the post office to save them

There's actually a time capsule I refuse to get rid of from Gayle, she moved to my friend's town and she had a time capsule here, so time came where I had to dig it up and it had a bubble gum shirt in it followed by a letter that said "I wanted this outfit for the longest time... then someone bought it for me! It's pretty old now but you should still wear it. It'll remind you of how loved you felt that day." I know it's directed towards herself but I find it absolutely adorable and I refuse to toss it.

I’m just keeping the letters I receive when villagers leave for now, but if I come across one I really like I may end up keeping that as well. :3
