The lack of furniture discussion had me thinking... I think most of us would like to see a return of past furniture sets but if there was an option to have new sets, what kind of interior design styles would you like to see in-game? I would love to see furniture sets inspired by:
  • Mid-Century Modern
  • Art Deco
  • Art Nouveau (especially for outdoor furniture)
  • Memphis Design (for an 80s style island)
  • Boho Chic

I would personally take anything non-modern at this point.

If I could will in to existence just one set I think it would have to be a circus based one though.

I would like an ultra modern Scandinavian looking set like something from an IKEA catalogue (that comes in different colors), I would like Art Deco and boho chic like the OP mentioned too. Also something super posh looking like the gorgeous set but better.

Same! There is an over-abundance of modern furniture items in comparison to other styles. I'd like to see some more kitschy stuff personally, but the circus themed items and Scandinavian ideas both sound like they have the potential to be super interesting.

I’d like pretty much anything except pink and pastel furniture and kid themed furniture at this point. I never liked pink furniture to begin with and never liked the kiddie set.

Personally, I’d like some historical/ancient looking furniture (I love history and culture and more references to any would be nice). More bookshelf options (as much as i love the wooden bookshelf i’d like different ones to use as well), better bed, table, armchair options (can they please have blankets and not just these thin sheets and can i customize them since i can’t with the antique?).

My themes are Dragon Age/medieval and magic, One piece/pirates, Middle Eastern/ancient. I would love more options to fit for all of these areas/themes.

I would like to see new sets as much as I would like to see some NL and HHD ones to return. I love the seasonal items especially the Frozen set.. My favorite NL/HHD sets were 7-11, sloppy, rococo, gorgeous, sweets and some of the princess though i wish it had more color options.

You have the most wonderful idea 😍 imagine customisable NL sets 🥰 my fav was the princess one but would love it in purple 💜 Rococo gorgeous and sweets with different colour options would be amazing 😍

Not to sit here and pine for past furniture sets, but I really want a sweets/desserts themed furniture set again. There are such adorable chocolate walls and floors available from Saharah that don't quite match anything ingame other than the soft-serve lamp, and it irks me.

I reeeeally really miss the princess and sweets set. I also really miss the Sanrio set, especially the kiki and lala one but with no way to know if it'll come back or not, I'd love to see some dreamy/pastel focused set, like the one in Pocket Camp that is fairly similar in style. Just more pastel things in general, I feel like the colors in this game are too bold/saturated and I'd appreciate that! I'd die and then be reborn to experience the joy and serotonin those kinds of sets give me lol!

I would also love boho chic! I'd totally be motivated to redo my entire house. I think some new pieces in that sort of lane would work well with a lot of other designs they already have that may be more natural, or the little star light garlands, etc. Just give me cool patterns and more plants! 😂

Honestly, I'd love more Middle-Eastern and Indian inspired furniture. I had an Ottoman-era themed house in NL and I would love to redecorate my house with elements of those cultures. I want my elaborate courtyards! :)

I was surprised we didn't have as many plant options this time around. I'd love the return of some of the old plant items (like the rubber tree) and some new ones like pothos or a fiddle leaf fig. Maybe we can have vine items or a shelf item filled with plants. I'd also love the return of the peacock chair! 🦚

I'd like to see furniture that just looks high-end in general return, like Regal, Rococo, Princess, Gorgeous, etc... Especially if they come in multiple color variants or are able to be customized. The Exotic and Antique sets are okay, but I'd like to see more actual interior furniture that isn't those or the generic wood/wood block stuff.

I'd love some more modern and minimalistic furniture, like glass tables and sleek wooden chairs. And we definitely need more couch options - the main one is nice but a little bulky and faded looking, and the cute one is a bit too bright for my taste.

I would love an honest to god Tiki Series using Coconuts, Summer Shell and/or Pearls for crafting, like for example a coconut radio or a Tiki Totem Partition, I would also love for there to be a wallpaper that looks like a Hawaiian shirt 🙏🏻🧜🏻‍♀️💜

I'm not sure about furniture sets although boho and scandanavian both sound like they have the potential to be very interesting, I mostly just want more plants and armchair options because it feels like we have None

I’d love more Old West or Scandinavian-style furniture. I’m also open to any natural themes but judging from how much we already have I think they’re just about done with that 😂

I'd like to see the rococo style and more varieties of antique furniture. Maybe a white antique set. I'd like more choices of sofas. Also, I'd like to be able to customize the bed covers and to sit things on the bed, like Puppers Mom's Plush or a decorative cushion.

I'd love any royal-looking furniture. Including things like toys and miscellaneous items, I just want to make a royal house! Currently I'm stuck with the antique set which is nice but it's hard to decorate a whole house without having to use a ton of repeats.

To the people who said a circus theme and tiki theme, I'd be SO down for that, omg. Pocket Camp has some circus furniture and it looked awesome.

I'd also kind of like more things inspired by the "Mom" set, like, nostalgic homey items. Like maybe a bed and a couch with a quilt design where you can customise the pattern and generally more vintagey-looking furniture. I'm currently trying to give my main house an 80s kind of vibe but I'd love some more items to make it work.

I really want more historical-looking sets and some of the quirky sets they used to have, like Sweets.

I'd love to see something akin to the princess or regal series from previous games, but maybe customizable? Overall I think it'd be cute to have a royal, elegant, ornate type of theme-- there are just way too many modern items in NH.
