What Island Map will you choose?

I saw somewhere where people were speculating we can change the river mouths, but we won’t know till the game comes out

You cannot change the river mouths. That's been confirmed.

Probably the rivers to the east. 18, 6, & 24 catche my eye the most.

i really like the even distribution of land in 1 and 18, and also the circle bit in the middle of 19

6 or 7 is the type of map I want. I want a small island just for Molly, Poppy, and myself.

I have no idea yet to be honest, but I like the looks of #1, 7, 8, and 19.

20 is almost there, just want the western river deposit to be a bit lower on the map.

Unless one of those pops up from the random generator, probably none of them. But, I would pick one of the maps that have one river mouth in the south and the other going to either the east or west.

But, from those choices specifically, I like #6.

I would pick #8. It meets my requirements of the permanent things like river mouths, dock, etc. I also like the airport being off to one side rather than right smack in the middle. I also feel like I wouldn't have to completely terraform my island to be happy with it. I would still like my island to have some semblance of what it was.

definitely map #18, center-ish town hall and top east river mouth, south left river mouth, middle secret beach basically my ideal map layout.

Honestly I'd probably go with 1. West/South is my ideal river, The airport is nearly in the middle of the map, and RS is close to the airport while still being off center.

I would like to have a small island within my island so ideally I'd have a map like 19.

I found this complication of the maps seen in different trailers and directs on reddit. Which of them would you choose. I definitely want one with a west outlet, probably #13 or #19

I really like the layouts where the rivers form a mini-island on the island.

I like 12 and 18 most. My New Leaf town has an east outlet and I would like to have the same for my New Horizons town.

I really like the concept of #5! The numerous waterfalls and heart shaped ponds are calling out to me

I personally like 4, and 22.
But if a west outlet, then 2...

I want my house either by the ocean, or at the top of the river secluded a little!
I want a good space for a fruit farm too.
Something about double south outlets appeal to me... anyone else?

Out of those 14 is the most appealing to me.

7 looks closest to my island plan. The second river outlet didn't really matter if it was east/west to me anyway, I just wanted one that has a river starting point in the top right and an island in an island and that's what I get with 7 so. Of course, it's possible that there'll be a random selection and we won't get to pick the exact one we want but rather one of a random 4 or so, in which case I'll pick whichever option I get given looks like it will need the least landscaping and terraforming.
