what is your ideal sandwich?

Italian ftw.

Hoagie bread from the bakery I work at, mustard, sandwitch pepperoni, Genoa salami, sweet ham, provolone cheese, oil, vinegar and oregano. I like other variants of Italian as well, but I absolutely can not stand anythin with capicola on it, so freakin gross.

Reubens, grilled cheese and BLTs are so good too, I really like sandwiches, but Italian is like the top choice.

Edit: if this counts, breakfast sandwiches also. I love a bagel with egg, cheese and ham. Mm.

I don't eat sandwiches very often, but grilled cheese is my favorite. I'm pretty basic. I like it on plain white bread and the only topping other than cheese is the occasional tomato.

love a good reuben, if I’m picking my own sandwich then dutch crunch or any roll really with roast beef/pastrami, greens, mustard, mayo, pickles, peperoncino, and maybe an egg if it’s toasted

Idk what a Dutch Crunch is but omg what you described sounds so good, I have got to try that one day.

I use to always love a good peanut butter and fluff!
Trying to stay away from bread and collagen nowadays so I have not have one in years.

Like IDEAL ideal? Then... Parmesan crust bread with a burger inside (does that count? I mean I can make one in my house so), bacon strips, maybe some onion rings, cheddar and mozzarella, with honey mustard and barbecue sauce. Damn, I'm hungry now.

it’s not ~really~ a sandwich but I love pita bread/wraps with falafel, hummus and veggies inside <3

One that someone else makes. :)

I have a couple of favorites, depending on my mood/time of year.

A really good, sharp cheddar and sliced sweet gherkins with a touch of Miracle Whip on sourdough bread.

Mandolin-sliced cucumber and boursin cheese on thin white bread.

My ultimate bad weather, cold day, comfort food sandwich is a grilled Fluffernutter. You almost have to put it in a bowl and eat it with a spoon, because the peanut butter and fluff get all melty and gooey, but it's totally worth it. Add a little banana and drizzle with some chocolate syrup and you have dinner/dessert all in one!

I usually only have sandwiches for breakfast, so when I have one, it should ideally be something like a bagel with a fried egg, plenty of greens, and (yeah I know, I'm nasty) American cheese. Or Cheddar I guess, but I genuinely love American cheese on stuff like this, it's just got a nice melty quality that's hard to get otherwise without a lot of effort and way more grease.

Alternatively, a bagel with avocado, veggies, and green olives, would be fantastic. Shame avocados are hard to come by here unless you want them either A) expensive or B) almost always under- or overripe.

alfalfa sprouts, faux turkey, cranberry sauce and cream cheese. It's divine.

I?m not a huge fan of deli meat so my sandwiches usually consist of bacon, avocado, cheese, spinach, and sometimes I?ll top it off with a fried egg!

Turkey with pesto and havarti cheese on chibatta bread. Microwave it enough to melt the cheese and you have an amazing lunch, even at work :,)

There was this place at my uni with this excellent (but a bit pricey) grilled vegetable sandwich but it closed last year :( it had seared eggplant, fresh tomatoes, basil, pepperjack cheese, and garlic mayonnaise on some herbed focaccia and it was worth every cent !! also yes i looked at their website to confirm these ingredients and now i'm hungry

But also when im at home a nice grilled cheese sandwich is very comforting to both make and eat? Or a toasted pb&j!!
