What is your favorite villager name in ACNL?

There are hundreds of villagers in animal crossing series, means hundreds of different names. And everyone must got their favorite one!


Mine's probably Ankha, since it sounds beautiful and have beautiful meanings too!

Her name is based on the ankh, which is the Egyptian hieroglyphic character that reads "life" - stated here

I find Blaire and Monique are great too


I'm expecting a baby and I'm like, so what I might look up to AC villagers to name my kid haha


So again, which one is your favorite? Which one do you find most appealing?

I love Willow, Lobo, Mint, Ankha, and Drift's names.

Sterling, Wolfgang, Phoebe, Molly, Eloise, Celia, Felicity, Knox, Cole. They all have really nice names imo.

Freya. It sounds so nice. I've used it as a nickname for my Eevee too.

As far as names I think are beautiful for the female villagers I like Diana, Willow, Celia & Eloise. For males I like Marshal, Apollo, Julian, Beau, Vladimir, & Fang.

For cute names I like Flurry, Lolly, Nana, Maple, Kiki, Stitches, & Kabuki. :3

I'll go with Flo, fo sho. So many rhymes, yo. Also my bro Cyrano.

And I have to mention my least favourite name too: Lucky. He's a dreamie, and lives in my town... but his name just seems so off to me xD He's a mummy dog with an Egyptian-style interior, but instead of a name that compliments that, he gets Lucky. I feel it's a very generic name for an awesome mummy dog.

ich liebe Zucker! when I was in germany, I have this talk about acnl with my german friend who also play the game. at that time, we both didn't know that the villagers name differ from us and eu region (i play the us reg), so when I said i have zucker in my town, he's like "what?? is there any villagers named sugar?" lol
