what is weeding day about?

What is the point of weeding day? Just pull weeds? Can you get someting?
Leif doesnt say what to do. Only that my town is super clean and he has a public work project.

If you have weeds, he gives you part of the weeding set for every certain amount of weeds you pull. If you get the PWPs that means your town is already without weeds. ^^

If you have weeds on the day of Weeding day you can pull them out to get s special furniture set.If your town is clean of weeds on Weeding day then you get a new PWP.Other than that there isn't much to do.

I believe you need a certain amount, Leif would tell you if you needed to pull weeds. If you want the set, you'd have to go to somebody else's town who is having weeding day and has lots of weeds, or you can you it off here. There isn't really anything left for you to do at your town.
