The blue due that works For happy home paradise,what is he? My guess is either a manatee or a toothless walrus. Anyone know?

Given his name is Werdell and he looks vaguely like Wendell the walrus, I want to assume he’s a walrus.

…..but he looks more like a manatee to me.

I believe he’s a manatee. I’ve seen enough of them in real life to confirm it. Plus, if he was a walrus, he would definitely have the teeth.

just a manatee, the name is just probably a good on Wendell due to them being similar creatures. Although Manatees and Walruses aren't that closely related.

I assumed he was a manatee but maybe not. Now I wonder if maybe he is actually a dugong. dugongs have fluked tails which would work well as feet for a character.
edit also he is missing nails that manatees have, but that doesn't mean anything in cartoons.
