What is the weirdest/most useless ping you have ever gotten?

Felicity just pinged me saying “is there something different about you? I can’t stop thinking about you” and then the conversation ending, I was just like. What’s the point? What’s yours?

I haven?t gotten a useless ping, really. I don?t really like pings unless they suggest a public works project, so basically most of them are useless to me. I like talking to villagers, but they get my hopes up when they ping. I think they have a public works project suggestion, and they want to tell me how wonderful the weather is. No.

Goldie pinged me twice simply to make me do some quiz. I was trying to make sure Nate wouldn't move, so needless to say I was not very pleased.

99% of them are useless, lol.

The lamest ones are when they tell you they've been looking everywhere for you, to ask you to pick them some fruit.

They should have used the energy it took to look for me, to go and pick their own fruit, because I always say no.

a few days ago Bettina pinged me and asked me, what extra ingredient she should use in her dish. I cant remember, I think it was some sweet Dessert with peaches, peach cobble?

Anyway, when I gave her my answer (love) she just said a plain "thank you" and walked away and I sat there thinking: okay..?

It was just those two words, nothing else so I was a bit "well, okay then? youre welcome, I guess?"

dont know if its weird or useless, but shari and gala were talking together and i saw a ping thing above one of their heads so i start talking too. shari basically told me that i need to get out of their conversation, and then put me in the conversation by asking me if i think she made gala cry. apparantly she stubbed her toe......i dont remember bt something like that. shari got hurt somehow, was telling gala about it and gala got upset thinking how bad it hurt and shari was telling gala to stop acting like that cause people will think she hurt gala.

The most annoying for me is changing the catchphrase, especially when I accidentally deny/reject them and they get depressed because they think they?re uncool (I think this is exclusively a lazy dialogue?? Or smug too maybe?) Way to guilt trip me!! I didn?t say you?re not cool! Don?t put words in my mouth TT_TT

That happend to me 3 times, twice with the same villager! Lionel (my least favorite villager) wanted to move, so I said yes. About 5 days before he moved I made the mistake of talking to him, he stayed. I did the same thing when he was 2 days away, and was more mad. And then maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago, Felicity wanted to move. I said ok fine, then she said “but then you might miss me so much. ugh FORGET IT, I’m not moving!” Although that one got a small chuckle out of me!
