What is the point of this?

I'm looking for Daisy today and want her to move in today, cause I'm worried I will get an unwanted/voided villager from WiFi/Streetpass, so I post a thread and post on my Tumblr about my absolute adoration for her and that I really want her.

At least three people have replied saying, "Well, I have Daisy, but she's not moving out anytime soon!" or "I have Daisy but I love her too much to let her go. Sorry!"

I really don't understand the point. Is the purpose to upset me? Cause it's working.

I replied to one of them saying "Why are you posting if you're not willing to Time Travel her out?" and they said "Oh well I WAS going to Time Travel her out and give her to you for free, but since you're being rude, never mind!"

Because if you are rude, nothing good will come out of it. I once read a quote saying "Plant a good seed and it will only bear good fruits. Plant a bad seed and it will grow bad fruits".

I wasn't trying to be rude, I was just asking them what the point in telling me that was. I'm looking for a Daisy that I can buy/keep, I'm not asking for every single person who owns Daisy to tell me that they own Daisy.

It's not about a specific person. I've gotten a total of 7 messages within the last 3 hours on a website that is NOT TBT. I'm not calling specific people out at all, so I think I'm fine...

Yeah, I guess you're right. I'm just really sensitive, and this isn't the first time this has happened to me before. Even my own friends mock me and tell me "Oh I have this villager you REALLY like but I won't give them to you" so I'm getting kind of tired of it, that's all. :c

Basically what she/he said. Making a thread about these kinds of people will not help. Best thing to do is just ignore them. And I guess... in my opinion, I would probably just say 'Good for you!' Or 'I hope I can find my Daisy soon!' And just to clear this out, can you get a photo/a link? Just really curious

Why do you need a photo or a link? I thought you said call-outs were not allowed. Why do I need to "clear up" anything? :/
