What is the point of the fourth cliff level

If I can't climb up, add water falls, trees, etc etc. What's the point? How are you using them??

I don't use them at all, mainly for the fact that you can't climb them to add anything. My guess is that they are for "decoration", like when you build hills/mountains that you can add an top (or something like this, not really sure how to use them otherwise...).

i have an outdoor library/sitting area on a third level so I'm using the 4th level to make a "wall" around it.

i assume it was mostly just thrown in for aesthetics. it kinda really sucks that you can't place anything on them or terraform though

But the aesthetic is like..... not good? It would be cute if I could pop a tree up there, add a flower. But if it's just.... an empty cliff lol

yeah, that's why my aesthetic likely won't include them unless i need a "wall" like others have mentioned lol
